I agree that Saka has been overplayed but Arteta is not the only one that has contributed to that. They should have brought in more for our attack, agreed. He probably should have tried to rest Saka earlier, but he did start to sit him down more this season. Nothing is promised to anyone, not assist records, injury-free careers, nor titles. Basically it is what it is and I truly believe Arteta is doing his best under pretty shit circumstances this season. When people compare Saka and Salah its just funny. Salah had Mane on the left to carry the load equally with him for more the two seasons. Injuries happen and are part of the game. Reiss Nelson also has a hamstring injury at Fulham and barely plays. Some players also prefer more minutes to stay in form.
SINCE 2021; 27 games for 🏴, most as a starter for 90 minutes & 31 Europa/CL & 127 games for Arsenal: it is 💯 on Mikel and Southgate for running Starboy into the ground. This Arteta blame for Saka's injury is nonsense. If the player is fit and available and are the best option they should play. Plenty of players have played equivalent minutes as saka young and old. Injuries happen and are part of the game. Reiss Nelson also has a hamstring injury at Fulham and barely plays. Some players also prefer more minutes to stay in form.
SINCE 2021; 27 games for 🏴, most as a starter for 90 minutes & 31 Europa/CL & 127 games for Arsenal: it is 💯 on Mikel and Southgate for running Starboy into the ground.

I agree that we need to win something this year or his position should be questioned but let's not act like he has not done some good for us. We are now a serious team again and competing for major trophies which we went YEARS without doing. He has spent 700 million BRITISH pounds which is a lot of money but every team top team including City, Utd, Chelsea have spent more than us over his time with us and Spurs are not far behind - 1 FA Cup is not enough and he needs to win us more but we are heading in the right direction.

last season we had the 2nd MOST points in the PL in our entire history (1 point off the invincibles), we also scored the most goals in the PL in our history in back 2 back seasons and also the most away wins....we are also 17 games unbeaten against the top 6, which is also a record for us. it's a damn shame we were competing with a jaggarnut like City becaaue any other prem season we walk away with at least 1 prem.
THIS SEASON alone, we are 2nd in the PL table despite all our injuries and the red cards we had that cost us....we are also into a SEMI FINAL of the league cup and 3rd in the CL table. We have amassed the most points, goals and clean sheets of any team in 2024 to go with that.
My point being....people are talking about ARSENAL as one of the best 2/3 teams in English football right now and that hasn't happened in 20 YEARS. I've been supporting Arsenal for 30 years so I've seen the great and bad days. We just need to get over the line, If Arteta can't do that then we move on but let's not act like he hasn't put us in a great place for us to succeed with or without him.
Lastly, Martinelli scored 15 PL goals as a LEFT winger and the Saka injury is unfortunate you can't pin that solely on the manager....he maybe could of done better job of managing his mins but ALL the top players in the world play insane minutes and Arsenal have sports scientists and doctors that are supposed to be in charge of the players fitness, that's not managers job so they should also share some of the blame too.
Also if it's all about trophies, why did Utd sack Ten Hag after winning 2 trophies in 2 years?......
