Keep it up and you will get there. I started September 2020 with the backpack etc. Worked part time 2 days a week. I checked how many customers I had after 4 months and it was 36. I'm now full time and have about 250 customers, earning a good wage and sometimes struggle to fit all the work in.
I do mate, only yesterday a new customer on the books, went to do a 1off, and then the lady said ,well we better keep them clean now. Happy days. Been a great journey so far, long may it continue!! Yep all set for Christmas, nearly beer o'clock, lol. Are you all set ? What I also do, is I'm friends with another new starter, he lives in Surrey. So any big jobs, full cleans, we do together and go 50/50. We do this on Thursday's n Fridays. So get our regular cleans done. Then the 2 spare days we work together.
Nice one, Yes pretty much ready for Christmas...with 2 very excited kids! Collaborating with other people I think is the way forward for all small businesses for several reasons but the main one is that you build relationships with other people and you never know what that might lead to.

@@seeitcleanltd-aylesbury I’ve not started out yet but from what the experienced guys tell you is that the best way to get customers is to knock doors. Didn’t realise you’ve only been going since October. Did you start up whilst still doing another job??
Yes canvassing does appear to yield the best results for most people, everyone has different ways that works them, its just finding what works best for you and your business. I posted in 42 local facebook groups on sunday afternoon and it generated 12 enquiries, which took me 15 - 20 mins to create and share the post.

I'm in Sussex. Going really good thanks. Just over 100 regulars , been doing conny roofs,GFS, gutter vac jobs also.

Thanks, I'm happy with how it's going so far. Just picked up a local Primary School also.
It's an exciting journey when building a business from scratch.
