Great comment, with the amount of tutorials we have now on you tube, it's never been better to get really good advice and better teaching than you will ever get in school. to all you kids on here, keep watching, learning and practice as much as you can, the most important thing is to remember it is your hobby,so enjoy it. You never stop learning and you will always continue to improve. I've only ever doodled one page. A5, during a 3 hour extremely boring danish class. I don't know what it is. There was a ship, a badger, a fox, a marshmellow with a face, a sealion and who know what else. Everyone kept finding diffrent things, and where i saw a sea lion, they saw an armadillo. I had just made random lines and then filled them in. Very good for boredom, but i've never had a page to just fill like that since, as i want all my art to be good.
Your videos are both inspiring and educational for those of us with an undeveloped imagination! The best teaching style yet of the drawing videos I watch.

This was super helpful. I went into doodling with an Easy Doodles, when I don't really even doodle. I appreciate the way you explained it and how you reminded me that it is not meant to be a copy, but to be mine.
This is cool! It's nice that you Branch out to other kinds of art besides just realism. I tried cartooning, realism and anime, and out of all those I decided I like drawing anime art the best, and im pretty good at it, and although I don't draw realism much anymore i still like watching these videos 😄

I work in a secondary school and, during some lessons when the students are doing a test, I started doodling with a pen. Portraits, characters, even did some holiday stuff one december. Sometimes I'd leave them on my desk or just lying around and, after a few months, I went to set up an English classroom and noticed a TON of my pictures on the wall, pinned up. Doodles of other teachers, people from magazines, dogs and cats, everything! Above was a header that just said "Sir's Drawings" and one of my students, she told me "We've been stealing them from all over the place, Sir. We made a wall with all your drawings!". She'd stolen the ones of ballerinas for her scrapbook too. Felt pretty made up by it! And upped my drawing game a little too, knowing that they were now in a gallery! XD
There's this one kind of doodle that i always for some reason do.. So to begin with I always start off by making a teardrop kind of shape and surround that with variable sizes of "teat drops"
I started scetching when I was 12 STD 7 that was My drawing exam and i think how to make my drawing perfect so I took my scale draw a circle and a line between circle and draw basic human face before all that I was really hatting drawing but after your toturioal I oooooove drawiiiiing ,when I made my first drawing I was like ☺️😎😎😎😎😎
Doodling is an excellent learning tool for beginners. They can draw anything, shade and blend without worrying about being perfect, and learn line control. It's also a great way for more advanced artists to brainstorm new ideas for true drawings, or where to place various elements of a drawing in order to get the best effect. And even for the most advanced artists, it can just be sheer fun.
Hi! Pro doodler here...I don't normally comment like this but I gotta say my strangest piece is definitely a rubber band ball made of index fingers.....bent ones and curved ones some with long nails and some with short nail.... extra epic though 😅
I did my first doodle that says "ART is 'a piece of cake' " and instead of writing a piece of cake, i drew it. because ortherwise my nosy friends would have eaten it.
Alslamu Alikum.. I'm not sure if what i draw is considered doodling but i tend to draw squares and rectangles connected to each others and shade some of them.. They turn out to be a huge network built on top of each others.. This is my instinct when i have a pen and a paper.. 😃

your comment about doodles morphing into something else is spot on. It happens all the time. Something so outrageous turns into something cool.
