“Not my best photo” still questioning myself if I’m ever able to create a car photo like that. Faye, ur so fucking talented and creative it’s an absolute gift to see u work. Also, thanks for the tip! Definitely building a photo studio around my methlab that way I have a good explanation when the police comes.
YT algorithm just blessed me with this video. I just started taking photography seriously (also because of cars), so seeing how good you are im really pumped for future videos to learn more about car-photograpy. Also considering its like the 2nd video in this channel, this is quite a banger start, very good quality, real nice one! Im looking forward to this jounrey of yours on the YT! . . For the love of god, its not Porsch, its PorschE, with an E :))
If you wanted to try that smoke effect again, you can take a small cooler put a hold on each side, one for a small fan and the other to tube in a smoke machine (make sure there is a gap for air). Set dry ice on a wire tray inside. pump the smoke thru and the cold from the ice will keep the smoke low on the ground like you had in the video. There is a tutorial online somewhere on youtube.
Awwe, you made me smile Faye 😊 Great ideas and love the colours. Excitement is what photography is all about. And it's great to see all of you sharing that. Keep up the great work. Cheers, Ann.
Great explanation of your process and feelings. Your highs and lows. You made it very realistic. You showed the whole process. Thank you very much. Keep them coming.
Holy cow. I audibly yelped in delight at those long exposure shots. Definetly had to pause the video to gape at those beauties. Incredible job as always :)
So awesome these could be some epic posters forsure! Also uuugh I used to shoot for a high end car company that’s old classics and supers and they always gave me the most basic and horribly lit out door areas to shoot their cars. It was torture lol so seeing this awesome set up made me a little jealous lol
Ah thankyou! Ahhh crap, that’s a bit annoying. Especially when you have cool ideas. But I’m sure you had beauties in front of your lens 😍 I appreciate your support a lot!
@@inyourfayes Sooo many insane cars. All shot in mid day lighting and a scripted angles I had to stick to. I’d Ofcourse get some fun shots after but was allllways dying to do some low light stuff like this for cars. Been working on my studio so much that I haven’t had the time but it’s just about finished now so I’m gunna turn my focus to outside of the studio again. Super excited!
@@inyourfayes One I recently tried that I liked (did it with a portrait though) is after you press the shutter, slowly move your camera to left or right on the tripod. But you don’t want to use a too long of an exposure. Like I was doing it with 1 second shutter speed. But awesome work Faye! Made me want to go experiment haha
Someone hit the ground running as if she was a TH-camr all her life 😊. Great video Faye. When you said you forgot your tripod it just reminded me of you and Liam’s no tripod challenge 😅
Love the vibe Faye! The end results for the long exposure is showing off an amazing rough but clean vibe! Such an interesting technique! The shots after the long exposures were amazing too! Great job to you and the guys! Keep smashing it!
Great shots and editing! I especially like the first of the two you showed at 6:11. Looks fun to have control of the car like that. I just have to shoot the cars wherever I find it out in the wild. Do you think that the long waiting time for the photo to be done, after taking it, might be because you have ‘long exposure noise reduction’ turned on? That always slows things down for me at least.
Thankyou! It definitely was🙏🏼 That’s actually how I started as well. I went to car events and photographed the cars. That way I built a portfolio and got to know car owners as well. And that actually could be it as well, I’ll have a look into it. Thanks for mentioning it 🙌🏼
Why use dry ice? I remember filmmakers using a fog machine with modified fog that stays longer and is a little heavier. I'm not sure if it will work for this kind of shoot, but: you'll never know until you try, right?
I would have shot it with a long exposure and a flash to light the car during the first part of the exposure then I would have moved the camera to make the light rays appear behind the car But nice process, nice shots and video tho ! +1 sub
Let’s gooooo great shoot babe 😘
Thaaanks love! You were a great help 🎥

Love the "Not my best shot" when the shot is soo sick!
Aaah hahaha thanks a lot! 🙏🏼
Great job. It's So good to see you working.
I want to try it using speedlites and leds with the 2nd curtain method.
Great work Faye! Experimenting is one of the best parts of creating art/ photography / Video. keep up the vids! And the GT3's (My favorite car!)
True! Happy you liked it 😊

ufff buen trabajo va ah llegar lejos en youtube
That was dope! Maybe next time have the car sit still for the first few seconds after you press the shutter, then take off at the last few seconds.
That’s also a good idea! Creates a different look! 👌

Can you tell me what led lights did you use for this photoshoot? 😎

I think it’s easier to do the shot you want with Photoshop
Yeahh probably hahahaha
"not my best photo" is some BS hahaha 6:12 is literally a banger and needs to be framed! NGL

Ahh I see what you mean! That could’ve worked as well. Long exposures are a craft itself hahaha. Fun to try things out!
