  • Hey Guys, in this Video I want to show you how to create a beaded cuff bracelet. We will be working with multiple base wires. I will show you how to create several weaves, create the focal point using the base wires and how to capture accent beads. Lastly I will show you how to create an anchor point for your clasp and chain. Hope you enjoy and please let me now what you think in the comments!

    Love this! I am always looking for bracelet designs of yours. I always learn something new in every piece you so graciously share with us. I am looking for creative ways to incorporate hinges for bracelets. Do you use those ever? I hate tackling making box hinges. Those are above my metalsmithing capabilities. Lol

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! :)
      I have made hinges in one bracelet before. I made a frame and used the ends of that frame to create loops for a pin.

    Hello! Such a beautiful bracelet! Thank you for the tutorial! One question...when adding the second set of 4 wires to the 5 other wires, when you wrap around wires 4 &5, are you bringing the wire between wires 5 &6? It looks like adjust it but i can't tell.

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, I zig-zagg back and forth between wires 4, 5 and 6 to join both halves together. :)

    I’m at the halfway point in making this. I had to take apart and re-weave the little section between the beads a few times and broke the weaving wires in the process but otherwise am loving the challenge of making such a beautifully well thought out design. Thank you for sharing! Your gemstones are also gorgeous! Care to share your resources for these?

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you are enjoying it! 😊
      As for the beads, I have had these a long time, and got them as part of a random bulk purchase on ebay, before I started selling gemstones. 😊

    Is is possible to do with 22g (0,6mm) wire? My smaller beads dont fit to 0,8mm wire 🤔

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be able to but I would recommend to use 0.3 mm wire as your weaving wire instead as you might struggle with the ratio between weaving and base wire. You would also need to adjust the number of weaves as the wire is thinner and the weaves will be narrower. All in all, it would probably be easier to find some beads that fit, or maybe try and make the hole bigger with a file or drill (careful with the latter, however)

    • @MA-jx8sr
      @MA-jx8sr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ImbaliCraftsI'm just trying with other beads (8 & 6mm)and Wire in round 😊 just to learn!

    Nadia, what kind of polishing brush are you using for this piece of jewelry?

    • @ImbaliCrafts

      Hi there, I use a fine-grit radial polishing bit that fits onto my dremel. :)
