I’m up on the Mississippi right now and was fishing a lot of grass last night- totally forgot about this trick you showed me! I need to break it out today. Thanks for the reminder! I appreciate this tip.
I haven't fished that part of the Mississippi river since I was a teenager! I hope you're having fun and catching them like crazy! Let me know how it goes!
Hey Lowbrow, you are preaching to the choir! I’ve been using modified beetle spins & throwing Mepps since I was a kid. Still do. Maybe it’s an Illinois thing😂 Arkie also sells those jig heads with the weed guards. Love the fat Albert grubs on those.
I grew up throwing white spinnerbaits . Watching jimmy houston and hank parker as a kid and bill dance its one of my favorite lures to throw. But in the last couple years i discovered zman swimbaits and its my number one bait i always throw. And just recently i added the under spin . Highly effective up north in small ponds
If I see schools of minnows then I really like a small Keitech on a regular jig head. I might even use a fat Albert grub. And if I need to go different then it's a white tube.
What's your favorite lure for targeting bass that are chasing bait balls?
I appreciate your channel, the knowledge and not feeling like I’m watching a 15-20 sales pitch commercial.
Thanks so much for watching!

Paddle tails, Squarebill Crankbaits, and a Choppo or BPS Popper is usually what I throw at the bass chasing bait.
Those can really get the job done

It's what I grew up using and I still use it all the time!
That's a great tip! I am definitely stealing that! Thanks for another great video LB!
Awesome! I'm happy you liked it!
That seems like such a no brainer. But it's not something I've ever thought about doing. Can't wait to try it!
I'm sure you'll really like it!
I like fishing a grub on a jig!
Go with what you love to fish!

An A rig is best this time of year. Most guys use it in the winter and spring but an A rig is great right now.
Yeah, an Alabama rig can be great, but not so good in 8 feet of thick vegetation, lol!
Bass Spin was Betts Bass size Beetle spin, I too still when tough grab my spinners
Those old beetle spins can get huge bites!
Can you do a video on sharpening trouble, hooks, and worm hooks?
I can see about putting that into a video! Thanks for watching!
Great hack! Gonna definitely give it a try! Thank you buddy!
Thanks! It's such a simple setup and it works so well!

Or boy howdy
A boy howdy is one of my favorite topwater baits of all time!
Cotton Cordell gay blade.
What?
A blade bait can be great when the water started to get chilly!
