    Don’t you just love it when a container fits in a space just perfectly??!? Only a crafter and collector of so many things can understand that feeling! I am just like you…I have a place or two that I keep my “genuine vintage stuff” all together so that it doesn’t get mixed in with every day things! I like to think of it as my treasure box!
    I also have some tight spaces in my room and figure it’s only me in there. I try and make use of every bit of free space! Us crafters think alike! My husband says I’m not a crafter, but a curator of craft supplies….like my room is a museum of laces and papers and inks and fabrics and…and…and….🤣 thank you for showing us your room and all your progress! You are so sweet and I love hearing you talk!🥰

    It can be a lot of work moving a craft room, but it's also fun rediscovering your treasures. Your craft room looks great.

    it’s tough organizing a small room, but you have lots of nice storage solutions. Suggestion, i would put all the flowers together, all your punches, that sort of thing. Easier to use them and more organized. Just a thought. thanks for sharing your room.

    Wow, that’s a lot of supplies but you have a lot of storage too! The lace punch would be really pretty to use in a few pages in your journal!

    Hello Tina, thank you for sharing your craftroom, I also love using hat boxes for storing craft items, yours are very pretty and feminine. I think your room is tidy, but then again, it can't be too tidy, else our creativity collide against it. Have a lovely weekend.

    No matter the context your videos are so inspirational and fun to watch! Remember what you said when you were doing the Tidy Friday videos that you would probably have to revisit it every once in awhile to move things to suit your needs better and to tidy it up. And moving is a whole different ball game because you're going to be using things differently in your new space so it's going to take some time to figure out exactly where you want everything and get it perfectly set up for you. I'm looking forward to every step in the process if we could possibly get to see at least the end result. You would not believe how much inspiration I take from you! 🐞💞

    Hello Tina. I am loving your craft room tour, I only have a small amount of thing's at the minute as I'm a newbie but you have inspired me to change my craft room around and use the space better. I like the snippet roll's hanging up so I will pinch that idea off you along with other storage space ideas 😀. Thank you for taking the time to share your room with us. Going to enjoy part 3. Take care xx

    You might consider a low shelving/cubby hole/lazy susan system on your workspace island to better organize and make more efficient use of that space. i.e. to keep the things/tools you frequently use nearer you. Keep up the good work!

    You’re coming right along, Tina!! My room is like yours, in that manage to fit something in every place!! Good for you! And you’ll discover that some things need to be rearranged & that’s ok! The little box that you thought maybe you’ll take the lid off, is something that you might want to put some of your bottles in, like the ModPodge & gesso or your like your Tim Holtz stuff. I have several that same size & they can stack in FRONT of each other & then the idea is that I won’t drop bottles & jars on the floor! I’ve never broken a jar, but I’ve had glitter, buttons, sequins, bulb pins & eyelets splatter all over the place!! So I hope I’m not being pushy in recommending something, but I like that same size box, maybe you would also! I can hardly wait for part 3! I think you’ve done an incredible job & getting everything into your new room & setting everything up!! It’s really wonderful & I know you’ll be “as snug as a bug in a rug” in your new space! Now go take a bath or a nap, anything that you can do to just relax & breathe! I love it all!

    I love your craft room tour videos.
    But I personally think the magnetic boxes are better to leave the top attached because it's easier to stack. I just label so I know what's in it. And it keeps everything from getting dusty over time from paper crumbs. Cut the top off a free box instead.

    Although I love my L shaped desk it doesn't have storage like your island. Amazon is so good for buying in bulk! I forgot about my old puzzle too 🙈. It takes a while getting things in the right place! I think we all need some scrap busting😄. I call unfinished stuff WIP (work in progress) so I don't feel so bad about them being unfinished🙊. I hope you have your plugs sorted now. We definitely need an ingenious ceiling storage system! B &M are handy aren't they? Yes, the boxes are beautiful but if we can't see it we don't have it 🙈. That's a fab hanging organiser, so many pockets! Oh good idea for storing snippet rolls! I think I'll do that because they don't roll. You have done a brilliant job organising so much stuff so quickly👏👏👏. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

      @shabbydabbydoodah  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much, yes, if we don’t see it, we don’t have it, that is so true. WIP, I love that, even if some of that WIP has been that way for like a couple of years! Haha. Yes, I love B&M. Yes, those snippet rolls don’t roll do they? I love mine being hung up like that. Have a fun Saturday x

    P.S. could a friend make you a quilt with your stash of fabric n just save a "fat quarter" or less for your future use? Then your memories of your generous friends can be enjoyed! Keep on w your good work n fine creations!! You have great ideas🤗

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's always good to know w we have after a clean thru n you do! Great progress...it also takes more x as you're in your new workspace n can see better ways to store your products. Unfortunately, sentimentality can get in our way. 😒 Keep w you LOVE in the forefront n destash excess....you definately need to plug on n continue with your honest eval....How about a snippet of your creations/including fabric mailed to your friends/and or/ customers? Cost is a factor these days....Look forward to another run thru of your room!

    Hi there! I was thinking about the shelf that your books are on, in the closed cabinet. I think if it was mine, I would pull the books out to the edge of the shelf and stack the rolls of paper from Amazon behind them. They might be more out of your way that way. Also, I would probably end up with either acrylic or glass shelves across the windows. It would still let light in, but be a place to put so many items, especially glass jars. I’m loving your room. Hugs, treen 💜💜💜

    It looks so good. Looking forward to your next video as always. (If it won't offend)...
    I have a tip for the stains on your floor.
    In what I called my *closet room* I got eyeliner on the carpet. I used shaving cream and A wet paper towel to get it up. (I saw this in a video on TH-cam)

    Hi Tina, it’s so fun to see how you’re storing everything. It looks great.
    I was thinking about your daughter. When you were in the loft she would craft there with you. Is she going to be able to craft in this room with you as well? It looks like it might be tight for that though. But I guess now that you are on the same floor as her room, she can craft in her room and still be close to you 😉. I can’t wait to see the rest of your room. Hugs 🤗

    Another idea: instead of all the little boxes, etc, wouldn’t it be better to combine into bigger boxes, bags and combine many of littles into bigs.
