Oh trust me, whenever emu appeared on a show they were always told about his ferocity and they would always agree to it! No one was safe! Health and safety would definitely not allow it these days! Sometimes emu would even turn on his master and throw/knock him around, it was very well done!

Hysterical! My family lived in England for several years when I was very young, and I loved watching Rod Hull and Emu whenever they appeared on television. It was so funny to watch Emu wrinkle his beak whenever he was angry! Of course, whenever Rod would say "he likes you!", you just *knew* the other person was in trouble -- because almost inevitably, that was right before Emu would go on the attack!

Für mich als KInd damals waren Rudi Carell und Hans Rosenthal das beste was im Deutschen Fernsehen lief!
