Cassandra! I've been listening to you for, I don't know, maybe 4-5 months now? I randomly got one of your videos about the Winnie Harlow's sunscreen when I was scrolling FB, and even though I didn't care about skincare at ALL, I found myself enjoying watching just...you! So I came back to watch more videos, and now I've been doing a full twice daily skincare routine since right after my 36th birthday in early August. Yes, including daily sunscreen. :) I have really enjoyed learning from you and continue to listen for more education and just because I think you are enjoyable to hear from. :) That being said, why I'm finally commenting... I gotta tell ya girl, I hear you making a common little error that a lot of us medical folks make: exacerbate vs exasperate. Exacerbate means "to make worse" (ie, the salicylic acid exacerbated her dry skin) and exasperate means to frustrate. You've always been so open to hearing the good and the bad in response so I'm hoping my message will be taken in the spirit with which it is meant. Thank you for all of your content, your knowledge and for your fun personality.

Just a heads up - unless you get a stellar sale on that, the same ingredient can be purchased much more cheaply on Amazon (lots of different brands coming in around 8 ounces for 16 bucks and absolutely the same stuff)- or even made at home with salt, water and vinegar in a hypochlorous acid generator (which is what I do).

This has nothing to do with the video, because I have not yet watched it ( I will tho!) however, can you please, if you have not, do a review on Oliva Palermo's PRIME TIME ILLUMINATING SERUM? I was a bit skeptical to begin with.. but I like to embrace.. It looks like a decent serum. I'm trying to "turn & learn" my ingredient list in my skincare, more.. ( I do it with my food, so why not?!) Although I have loved and been into skincare my whole life , it really hasn't been until recently (3/4 years) that I've actually looked into the ingredients in skincare. I use to have a problem with tinea versicolor growing up and had no idea ( at the time) how to treat or care for it.. since then, I have become a lot more "knowledgeable" about skincare and what works best with & for my skin. BTW I am so glad you put knowledge out there about the importance of skincare!!

I'm also a little sad. I got, and loved, Pacifica's vegan ceramide moisturizer for days my skin barrier needs a little extra love. Only to discover recently that my skin in sensitive to calendula. 😭 Which led me into a bit of a cycle, because I would use the moisturizer when I felt my skin needed a boost then wonder why my face felt so raw and sensitive the next day. It wasn't until I got another calendula product and it did the same thing that I put two and two together. 😮‍💨 Now I've got to find another ceramide moisturizer and find a friend who wants the rest of this one.

Yeah I buy 4 for that price. I am too poor for everything else.

The best sunscreen is the one you’ll use everyday! Try to find the Trader Joe’s one it’s like $10 and works so similar to supergoop

[Sighs in european] i madly appreciate this channel, but i feel left out. I bet some of your viewers have never even heard of sephora. just bought L300 hyaluronic acid nightcream and I can't find any skinfluencers that talk about it. All this cool stuff like retinol and shít that youtubers recommend, they aren't in Finland, either the brand or the individual products. this country has its own brands that make their own hyaluronic acid and retinol but i really would love to know what you experts think first 🥲
