Welcome back max to being the most hated driver on the grid!!!
You could see Lando drive straight into Max. Max didnt turn his steering wheel at all, Lando did. Also, Lando pushing Max off rhe road earlier in the race, it may have been in that exact corner too i cant remember, because he was ahead and had the inside and thats honestly acceptable IF you dont do it on purpose but Lando clearly did it on purpose that time, but acted like it was all Maxs fault. Then later when Max was ahead and on the inside Max is taking his own particular line, doesnt even turn his steering wheel to the left at all and Lando smashes into him then Lando loses his shit. What a fucking child. It's like he won one race and all of a sudden he thinks he deserves to be given all the preferential treatment like Lewis got all those years. Honestly he just seems butthurt that he has the better car and yet keeps getting curb stomped by Max because Max is by far the superior driver. Hopefully some maturity will fix his nonsense but i doubt it, usually when a driver is like that they STAY like that.
But yea that ridiculous rule that in essence, because it doesnt ACTUALLY say, says the driver in the lead and on the inside has to alter their own racing line so the idiot behind them doesnt have to actually use their skills to counter them to make an overtake...its the dumbest shit. Like Max, or whoever else is ahead, has to for some unknowable reason remove themselves from the driver behinds path even though it means altering their own line and basically forces them to accept being overtaken and doesnt allow them to make any defensive driving at all. While I can understand that they dont want drivers intentionally forcing others off the road just to keep their position, the rule is so vague and open to interpretation that its implemented extremely poorly almost always. The stewards were terrible this race but thats not exactly news. Why it takes 4-5 laps to give a penalty for track limits to Lando is beyond me. It was a clear violation after being shown the black and white flag, so its instantaneous....rather its SUPPOSED to be. Had they done their job, Max wouldnt even have tried to Lando behind him BEFORE that corner, hed have let him pass and just followed him and taken the victory because Lando wouldve had his penalty. Instead the stewards dont give the penalty until AFTER an incident, give Max a penalty for...idk driving how hes supposed to and how everyone with a fully functioning brain knows how racing works. This was the biggest two fumbles on their part in this race because it decided the winner. It was a pathetic showing all around for the stewards. And the FIA themselves need to eliminate that rule and change it to include a stipulation that the driver ahead MUST HAVE INTENT and that it be OBVIOUS (i.e. them steering over to force the driver behind off) that way race leaders dont get ridiculously awful penalties for driving straight.
Bro, as much as I agree that people made a bigger deal about Max's role in the incident, you don't need to write a wall of text while personally insulting Lando. It's just bad form
