Congrats on nearing the end! I did a double take when I saw another couple of hikers I’ve been following in your video today. Looks like a small and warm world:)
Definitely looked like a fun time at Shaw's. You talk about doing a 20-mile day like it's just a little longer day. I recently signed up to do the Wounded Warrior Project's "50-Mile Ruck Challenge" in the month of September. Yesterday, I hiked 20.5 miles with my pack weighing 27.5 lbs. all on pavement and concrete. For somebody who doesn't have trail legs it was a pretty big thing, and thank goodness I came across a Dollar General at about 12 miles in where I bought ibuprofen and a Gatorade. If I hadn't found that, I definitely would have cut my hike to about 14.7 miles. I'm sore today. lol I hope you enjoyed your 100-Mile Wilderness.
I could never do this. I have watched many hikers on several different sections of the trail, and there are too many places we're you cannot even tell where the trail is at all. I would get lost for sure. So, no thanks. You are all brave.
Going to miss your happy positive daily adventures. Congratulations well done!

The homestretch!
What brand are your sandals? They look like a great water/camp shoe!
@@deborahhill3105 they are from Xero shoes. I bought them because that’s what Shaw’s had in stock but they worked out pretty well.
