    Tragic that there’s less than 1,000 views on this video… they’re all excellent.

    These videos are scratching a crazy itch I’ve had for less superficial BCS content. Awesome, awesome, awesome work and so much too. You mentioned Saul (Biblical) having an illuminated vision that changed him, and you said Saul Goodman was having visions of greed. Perhaps Kim could be the bright light Saul, or Gene, needs to find his way back to Jimmy, probably not slippin’ after the time he’s spent as Gene. I haven’t seen if you’ve made it, but I think a video directly speaking on solely the aspects of Chuck and Jimmy’s strained relationship would be interesting. Please keep creating content!

      Also, any other interesting symbols like the spiral that you’d recommend looking for and understanding?

      Thanks for the support. No plans to revisit videos from Better Call Saul right now as I am currently compiling for "Breaking Bad" series, which might be just as interesting for you.

      If you're interested in Symbols and what they might mean I would read some books by Carl Jung. He is someone who goes deepest into symbolic meanings. Some of the symbols he talks about most are the sun, the circle, water, the eye, etc. His book "Symbols of Transformation" would be good to check out.

    I watched all you Better Call Saul videos and I have to say I'm beyond impressed with your character analyses. It'd be great if you make one more video with your season 6 predictions based on the psychology of each character as you presented. You're doing a wonderful job, Michael. Thank you for this insightful content :)

      Great idea! Perhaps doing a few videos during the season 6 mid way break might be needed. Stay tuned!

    Love all your work. Especially on better call saul! Shows off the intricacies of the writing making me see the show from new angles. Show feels even more complex than i first imagined! Would love to see a video on Hank Schrader and his psychological journey throughout Breaking Bad. Feel there's alot of detail and nuance only you would cover proficiently.

    Brilliant. I ❤️ Joseph Campbell- never heard this applied to an antihero. Mike definitely fits the sage role. This makes the mike/Jimmy scene from the finale all the more tragic, poignant.

    The urine is in a Davis & Main bottle, another item from his former world. The props department on this show does such a wonderful job. I wish they'd make a prequel focusing on Mike's life. Does anyone else think there's no way this guy was just a cop in Philadelphia? The skills he has look like he must have learned them in the military and he's the right age to have served in Vietnam.

    • @greenbayfan915
      @greenbayfan915 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It's implied he served in Vietnam in an earlier episode when he talks to the illegal arms dealer about the M40 rifle. The implication is so strong that it is essentially confirmed that he served in Vietnam probably as a scout sniper, which would explain his extremely diverse skill set.

    Jimmy’s misfortune in season 5 is 30% Chuck’s fault, 40% Jimmy’s fault and 30% Vince Gilligan’s fault.
    Even if he was reinstated as Jimmy McGill, Lalo would’ve contacted him anyway because Nacho is a guy who introduced Jimmy to Lalo thanks to his experience in season 1. Jimmy cannot get out of this situation because it all started with him accidentally pulling the con on abuelita back in season 1. Chuck was right about Jimmy but not all along. The one who is actually right about Jimmy all along is Huell.
    “An act of god. Ain’t no accounting an act of god.”

    • @brieschdude
      @brieschdude  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Although that is true that Lalo would have contacted him, if Jimmy is no longer a lawyer he does not serve the same purpose to Lalo as a non practicing counsel. They don't need Jimmy, they need his job title and what comes along with it.
