As a top 2% EU player who has mained her alongside a few other characters this season, here's a few additional tips (not sure if you have gotten into these during the gameplay section): 1. The shield does not have a cooldown as long as it doesnt break, and can be retracted with F(by default on mnk) which will have it recharched over time, so with proper shield management you can practically have an infinite shield that heals whenever needed. 2. The shield is your best means to heal flyers (and potentially flankers) or just very agile characters, just drop them a shield and have the shield heal them instead of potentially missing shots on them. 3. Tying both prior points up in one, you can chase a very agile hero, like for instance a venom thats low HP who is swinging back towars your team with your shield by spaming your right click 4. To all the DPS and tanks out there (if any of them bothers watching this video or even read the comments): dont ignore invis womans shield, use it to heal, stay close to it, play arround with it, it will help you more than you know or give it credit. 5. Use your push ability to try and get environmental kills (pushing someone off the map) these actions, while small and underappreciated can win you entire team fights ultimately resulting in more wins. 6. Use the previous ability to pull people into your team, sort of like a wolverine does, less impactful, but try and pull people towards your team when you are having an advantage and are advancing, they try to retreat, you prevent it from happening. Also helpful to pick off leftover heroes after a teamfight that try to not stagger and reunite with their team, pull them towards your team and finish them off. There might be many more tipps, and if this gets some upvotes and I think of any more, I might add some in future comments. Regarding to the video, the only real thing I'd advise, specially for merchant here, is try to be more active with your shield and try to recall it to restore its duration without incurring the cooldown, leaving it behind for some teammates to use it should they remember it, just seems a major waste of damage blocked and healing put out overall, as well as major utility if used properly for its slow. I do believe this hero to be a quite high skill ceiling character due to mainly the shield and shield management. I bet many people dont even know you can retract the shield or reaply continuously to have it follow someone arround. Try to minimize the ammount of times it breaks during a match and to give it more utility, people wont notice it all that much (since, as I have been told before in matches, people dont care about the damage blocked a healer puts out) but trust me, it can be a lot with proper shield management.
Another thing that isn’t mentioned is her area of effect/slow ability (I don’t remember the name) will force enemy flying characters to fall out of the sky until they are out of it. So if you throw it just below them and reactivate it it should hit the bottom half of their model and force them to fall until their head is out of the sphere. This isn’t explained anywhere in the ability description but it’s a good way to force out any fliers that are starting to push your team! :)
One thing I'd do differently than you is use the shield more as a burst heal. Throw on DPS in the back or near a tank but don't keep it up forever. Because it only heals up when it's recalled or broken. The shields cooldown is based upon the damage it took up to 6 seconds of cooldown. At 15:45 you had a shield just sitting there at 12 heath for a while. Having it sit there with low heath isn't gonna help as much as recalling it and recharging it in most situations.
Yeah I agree here. I mostly just toss it up for a second or 2 to top off low dps or tank then recall it and send elsewhere. I try to never leave it sitting with a full hp hero
When I read “how to ACTUALLY” I knew exactly what you meant. Thank you for this, it’s so exhausting when every guide I find is just a dude reading off the abilities
a couple things I'd like to add this already amazing info you can do more than just move and reload while invisible, if you have a shield up you can take it back and retain your invisibility as well as if you sent out an orb you can explode it and retain your invisibility and secondly you can actually jump cast an ability and still have time to double jump before you hit the ground, which is why you can explode the orb while invisible, you jump, cast it, double jump and then explode it
I think one think to keep in mind for your gameplay is to recall your shield a bit more often! It's definitely good to leave it at choke points or in the backline a little bit, but tbh teammates will forget in the heat of battle! Getting it recalled is a good way to keep the HP bar of the shield up that way it is more available to be used for longer periods of time!
For me the favorite part on these videos when you making us pay attention to the position of the characters and why there are there. both Storm (from previous video) and Susan lining up shots to hit multiple targets. Game really feel better after following these. Thank you!
I have an extra tip from experience, but not for invisible woman, for playing with one. Please....PLEASE...If I am invisible, I get you might want to come to me for healing but if you are being chased, DO NOT BRING THE ENEMIES TO ME, THEY DON'T KNOW I'M THERE, DON'T LET THEM FIND OUT THROUGH COLLATERAL! And I can't very well heal you if the chaser kills me once they realize I'm there.
This video is everything I needed! All other guides say “everyone just reads the ability list” and then proceed to read the ability list themselves. This is actually useful stuff, thank you!
it is a neat abuility but in the heat of the battle, it can be difficult to execute. Since iron man is so far away, it can be difficult to gauge where you need to place it.
I found it doesn't always work actually, sometimes I'll nail iron man but it will drop him a little then he flies away. Then sometimes it will make him fall to the ground completely.
@@sterlyngroehrig7503 Because you need to place the bubble BELOW him, so he starts falling from the top of the bubble all the way to the bottom before he can move again
I think the animation cancel for the melee attacks is only important if you're getting dove on or if you're trying to peel for your teamates and the enemy is close ranged. Otherwise, don't force these 1v1 scenarios because IW does need to be very percise and you're putting yourself in a very vulnrable position. Another thing to note is to look at what characters your team has and how you can set up for them. For example: Strange can get a massive passive healing from IW's barrier if he positions his barrier infront of it thus his barrier will soak up most of the damage and he'll get a massive healing boost (kinda the same for Magneto), you can hide Scarlet Witch behind your ult and give her massive healing thus making it harder for enemies to burst her down, and unlike Luna and Mantis IW doesn't need to be close to Scarlet to do so and IW's barrier is massive for Scarlet since it can also block cc, damage and heal Scarlet during her ult. Also, you can actually fight really well around ledges with IW because you can position yourself to push the enemy of the map. So yeah she isn't as good at healing as other healers but her set up potential is what makes her fantastic.
The video was recommended multiple times, but i never clicked. I was like "i already played her for like 10-15 hours and made it to diamond that guy cant teach my anything new" but i clicked it in the end. Respect bro, really useful stuff here especially with the combo's and the def shield health pack lol. Keep it going brother❤
11:15 Are you sure invisible woman's ult will stay if she dies? I've had several games where my ult immediately disappears when I die (even if I have just used it). EDIT: It even immediately disappears when you die at 12:17
@@andreasthekid2677Lot of knowledgeable guide makers that do. He's giving constructive criticism that will ultimately help expand his audience and overall quality
For the up close combo, I would just start immediately with the shift into primary fire attack. You are already starting right next to them due to being invisible so it would make sense to preserve your E to pull them back into the shift bubble as they try to jump out or move away from your melee range. Although you do have that delay between E and M1 in the middle of your combo, I think keeping them in the bubble for longer and closer to your character will make things more consistent. Combo: Shift -> M1 -> Melee -> E (M2) -> M1 -> Melee -> M1 -> Melee If there is no delay with E (M2) -> Melee, then the combo would be better optimized as: Shift -> M1 -> Melee -> E (M2) -> Melee -> M1 -> Melee
Great guide. I now feel confident enough to play Sue competently. I was overwhelmed by her kit at first blush but I've played her since reading this and I'm loving her.
these are the kind of guides im looking for when i need a guide. not the "lets read abilities" but... when to do what. positioning. what is your role etc. Thanks for that...
I wish she could place her shield herself because she has little to no healing for herself when she isn't invisible. Without the shield she can only heal when she isn't helping her team.
I'm actually glad it's like that because if she had that much self-sustain people would go off flanking like an assassin even more. The shield mechanic makes it so she's more effective playing with her team and actually healing.
Bruh you can literally jump away and go invisible while healing over time. Just position yourself better and you’ll be able to always run away or get heals quickly
AS A INVISIBLE WOMAN MAIN I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT AS WELL BUT HONESTLY IM GLAD THAT SHE DOESNT💯JUST JUMP AWAY TO SELF HEAL WHILE INVISIBLE👍🏾HAVING IT LIKE THIS PERFECT BALANCE IMO
I've been cooking a lot of force push pull techs around ledges :), double jump very good for baited people in then hopping, over and shooting them back . Or jump off the edge, pull and jump back.

i never ever ever ever ever ever thought to look at the floor everytime i would complain in my head that my projectile would only hit once. . . . . this ONE TIP ALONE is going to improve my gameplay A TON! (i think anyway)
One thing I like to do is use the shift ability, and then as they’re about to walk out, pull them back in. This often kills squishies if there’s teammates around
God bless a video to help people play her. I'm sick of both but cloak and daggers and sues ruining ranked matches be abuse they think they are DPS frfr we need healz people
Personally, I prefer saving the E for the end of the melee combo. You can get Strange to 3/4ths of his HP bar. Shift -> Primary Fire Melee Weave Combo -> on the knockback of 3rd hit, E Launch inwards, repeat Primary Fire Melee Weave combo. This lets you get the full shift ability damage and two melee combos off, and I've found it to be a little more practical in team fights while also not leaving you with all of you abilities on cooldowns at the same time (staggers them and gives opportunity for variation). Good stuff though!
Honestly it can be hard to even hit the full weave combo, or it takes just long enough for your third melee which does the most damage, to miss. Sometimes just vortex-3x melee- pull- primary to finish works on lower hp. The vortex also cancels into melee right away so I just start smacking people.
Great video man! I used to watch you when Apex was still alive ;) Great to see you playing Rivals and releasing content/guides. Maining Invisible woman and she dominates support if played very well, so damn fun!
May have missed this mention, but positioning is KEY with her. Her basic does piercing healing AND attack. Play back behind your tanks and dps mostly, shoot to both heal them and damage the enemy team.
Some healers can heal their allies through her ultimate-enemies outside the ult will see periodic outlines of their allies who are in it, allowing characters with non-targeted healing (like IW, Loki, Rocket) to still get mostly-reliable heals onto their team. This can be used to cut enemies off from Mantis or Warlock healing though!
Thanks for your Mr. Fantastic video. He easily became my 2nd dps after Squirrel girl. I didnt have an alternate dps after her til then. I did pretty good with invisible woman looking forward to doing better after this vid
12:00 You can even push Psylocke, when she activates the ult theres a very brief window where she is still not untargetable (how the usual psylocke in your team will die while ulting 1v6) and you can push her away because even after she goes untargetable the momentum from the push still goes on !!!
I'd like to add, the Reticle you made for moon knight also works for Invisible Woman, Peni Parker & Namor, They are all 120 mps like moon knight with their primary fire making them all a good combo of characters to learn together should you want to main one of them and it's taken :)
Love the guide, but I'm confused as to why the button/key displays sometimes have M&K on top and other times have them on bottom. It's especially frustrating while you're showing the long input combos. What is the point of alternating top/bottom/top?
The first female character since January 2012 in a video game i ever truly enjoy playing since Viola from Soul Calibur 5. She's so fun. Not as devious or unpredictable as Loki my true main strategist but as a secondary she's best woman for me. Genuinely didn't know about her quick Melee combo from her projectile orb boomerang can be chained together like a South Korean action rpg. Neat thank you for that.
How high is your latency? I'm gonna try this when I get home, but with the limited amount of servers in the US, I'm not sure how possible a lot of this is for many people here, myself included, as I'm generally between 70-100ping.
Just looking for other players opinions, do you use your orb to deal with utility aswell? I find it very useful firing at either clumped groot walls, rocket utility, punisher turrets by default. Only in plat so want to know whether you think its worth it
For the cancellation combo is it melee attack at tge same time, then melee then attack, melee then attack, then repeat OR IS IT attack and melee at the same time, attack then melee, attack then melee, repeat….. i ask because as you are literally saying melee first then attack, the inputs you show is to attack then melee. Im confused
Hi, good evening. Really useful and nice video. Your tips have helped me a lot. Do you have a video like this with Cloak and Dagger tips? If you dont have any video like that, could you make a video?
I wish they would enable a one click quick cast ult in her option. It's kinda hard to counter ult when you need an additional input for every ult that's about to blow in your face. Every other supports can do this and it shouldn't be hard to implement. Just hold to aim and release on cast like how league quick cast work.
Very good guide. But I have a question. Is the melee combo really that good? I'm asking because, I haven't seen you use it a single time in your shown gameplay. In general you use Invis Melee only once when you were hunting down a rocket. You also gave an example of assassinating someone from invisibility. While possible and very much doable, is that really something you should be going for as a healer? This might sound like critique, but I'm genuinely interested in your thoughts on this.
the gameplay was recorded before I had learned the combo, as the the invis combo I have used it a couple times but yes as a support it's rare you'd use it
@@MarvelRivalsMerchant I see. Thank you for the answer. Looks like a useful combo for niche situations, but I guess learning proper positioning has a lot higher priority.
Ive found that I play better with her if I dont pay attention to the scorecard. Shes a true tactical support who can tip the scales, but she gets outclassed in raw healing and dps
Im VERY new and usually get 40 fps on bad days, but getting 15k healing is super easy with her. However, ive never gotten 25k+ and i wonder if at that point its an aiming issue 😭
From my experience, I'm dead before I can even finish that melee combo. Better to stay at ranged cause most teams have Cloak and Dagger and/or a Mantis and either of them out DPS Invisible Woman. And Cloak and Dagger can heal herself with a skill if she fires it at her feet. Might work on a Psylocke, but the player has to be preoccupied for it to even hope to succeed. For the most part, I see no way for the melee combo to be useful in most scenarios. Though I did notice that the push/pull can get Jeff out of the ground making him an easier target for your party. I was just trying anything to damage Jeff when I found out and managed to save teammates who got swallowed
Moon Knight can also kinda counter her ult after his Ult buff. If he drops his ult in the middle of her ult, its pretty much the area of her ult and moon knight gets atleast 1-2 kills. Doesnt make sense but it actually works
Ive used invis woman's ult to save my teams against moon knights ult a few times. Although we cannot stand in there indefinitely, it buys enough time for people to get out of MK's ult zone without the whole team getting wiped before they can make it
Would someone ***please*** tell me how to get the team’s health boxes (top left and top right) on PC? I feel like I’m trying to heal with one hand tied behind my back.
i am just usually killing back lines and healing fast front line if they even are smart enough to move when attacking and it's funny free roam map when defending attack back line squishies and move to back healing fast so much fun to play
Thanks for all the support!
One quick correction - her ultimate will not stay after you die, sorry for getting that wrong
Wonder if there is a way to make A MACRO to put the full combo into 1 Key. LOL
As a top 2% EU player who has mained her alongside a few other characters this season, here's a few additional tips (not sure if you have gotten into these during the gameplay section):

Some healers can heal their allies through her ultimate-enemies outside the ult will see periodic outlines of their allies who are in it, allowing characters with non-targeted healing (like IW, Loki, Rocket) to still get mostly-reliable heals onto their team. This can be used to cut enemies off from Mantis or Warlock healing though!
Mister merchant… I haven’t watched you since 2020… i have missed you
12:13 the shield's actually a little curved so it can protect you from namor's ult if you get really close to it
Very good video, the best for those little details that get lost!
Thank you, I was waiting for your video so I could actually start playing her
Ngl in my opinion this is the best healer
I am unstoppable in ranked with invisible women
Hell yeah bro, thanks you so much for this vid. Definitely learned some valuable knowledge. Keep this series going 🎉🎉
Thank you for breaking it down clearly.
How do you do the first melee attack and first left click at the same time? I can’t seem to get it to work.
Love the guide, but I'm confused as to why the button/key displays sometimes have M&K on top and other times have them on bottom. It's especially frustrating while you're showing the long input combos. What is the point of alternating top/bottom/top?
Daaaang the melee cancels like double her damage at close range. Thanks for teaching me something instead of just reading me the abilities lol
Great guide! Thank you so much for making this
Do you think you can do a guide for Psylocke?
Good video, well explained everything!
Do one on adam warlock
Not to mention psionic vortex can ground fliers. Went 45-1 with most damage, damage blocked, and heals. IW is a killer with the right team
How high is your latency? I'm gonna try this when I get home, but with the limited amount of servers in the US, I'm not sure how possible a lot of this is for many people here, myself included, as I'm generally between 70-100ping.
This is exactly what I'm looking for.
Just looking for other players opinions, do you use your orb to deal with utility aswell? I find it very useful firing at either clumped groot walls, rocket utility, punisher turrets by default. Only in plat so want to know whether you think its worth it
It’s good for zoning, taking out peni’s mines and nest, placing it behind/infront of enemies then using the pull/push, or screwing over fliers
Im confused
You're really good at these videos keep it up
Incredible guide
Hi, good evening. Really useful and nice video. Your tips have helped me a lot. Do you have a video like this with Cloak and Dagger tips? If you dont have any video like that, could you make a video?
the shield tip is kind of crazy i had no idea it did that
7:21 except that cloak wasn't in their bubble when they died. Im pretty sure that won't actually work anyway.
Nice time to main her now
shield is also useful to put up in front of melee enemies fighting allies to slow them down, this is very underrated.
I wish they would enable a one click quick cast ult in her option. It's kinda hard to counter ult when you need an additional input for every ult that's about to blow in your face. Every other supports can do this and it shouldn't be hard to implement. Just hold to aim and release on cast like how league quick cast work.
You don't happen to have a Loki guide do you?
Thank you
Very good guide.
This is the guide I was waiting for! My new main
When she dies her ult does go away it doesn't stay afterward.
Finally, helpful information! Thanks so much for this.
Please make a guide for other Heroes too?
Doesnt it outheal Moon Knight’s ult?
1 other note. You and activate shift while it travels to knock down flying enemies
Although we cannot stand in there indefinitely, it buys enough time for people to get out of MK's ult zone without the whole team getting wiped before they can make it
Left out that the orb causes flyers to fall throughout the entirety of the hitbox.
Make a video for dagger
Where to find good teamplayers ?
15k healing on invisible women bad in rank ? Like i got bashed by a tank player for doing 15k even tho i was getting targeted by their team
15k healing is not a lot 20k is like the minimum for good heals
Would someone ***please*** tell me how to get the team’s health boxes (top left and top right) on PC? I feel like I’m trying to heal with one hand tied behind my back.
Can her "E" pull in Jeff in ult form (after he swallows)?
her ult actually does get canceled whenever you die, same as cloak and daggers
Haven’t watched this guy since apex, I’ve missed him
Normally scarlet witch or Loki. If I see a scarlet witch Lens thing I usually use it to my advantage
i am just usually killing back lines and healing fast front line if they even are smart enough to move when attacking and it's funny free roam map when defending attack back line squishies and move to back healing fast so much fun to play
*Mind blown* Actually just made me see how horrible I was doing as her ;-;
amazing visuals❤
8:28 still waiting 😂. These people are oblivious
