Whoever does the soundtrack for the Blacklist has the literal best taste in music. They always pick some amazing songs that just match well with the whole scene. Kudos to that guy.

I felt down from my chair when I realized that Liz was still alive and that Alexander Kirk was Liz's father.
It actually disappointed me because I feel like it cheapened the audience and her death. Haha, they pulled a comic book death on us.

I just found this song because of the Blacklist and I‘m so addicted to it right now. It is so deep and you can just think all the time about the meaning of it. One of my favorite songs ever probably. A shame that it wasn’t more popular at that time and just a big thank you to the Blacklist team, for introducing us this masterpiece
The amazing part for me is I found this song years before watching the Blacklist, it meant a lot to me in a bad spot in highschool, years later I'm watching The Blacklist and this starts playing in I literally screamed in excitement waking up my family lol

What does the metaphore " everyone thinks i dodged a bullet but i think i shot the gun " mean ?
@@Leggend27 when someone says to you “you dodged a bullet” it means that you’re lucky you got out of that because it was a bad situation or in this case a bad relationship, but his adding of “but I think I shot the gun” is him saying it was his fault that it was bad, not the other persons, like everyone else is implying.

Like many others, I'm here because of Blacklist. This is at least the 3rd time I've rewatched, so already knew what was going to happen... but the writing was SO good in the final episode of Season 3, that I STILL got goosebumps at the end.
Between the race to get to Liz, Tom, and Agnes, the dynamic of betrayal between Kaplan & Red, Ressler telling Cooper that Liz is actually alive... And then at the end, when Kirk tells Liz that he is her father, and this song playing as it all unfolds... just WOW

I just stumbled on this beautiful song. It's a definite repeat. It's a heart calling to its love regardless of the love.

I believe this is going north on the Tehachapi Willow Springs RD just before Hwy 58 north of Lancaster CA.
I like where you are going with that, but I can't seem to find a place that fits exactly on Tehachapi Willow Springs Rd. I figured it would be somewhere in AV, or at least somewhere in the Mojave Desert....

I love Greg laswell... Anytime anyone asks me what type of music I like I always name him first. I never name genres.
He is incredible. not sure why he doesn't have more commercial success- but his songs are amazing!
I'm the same way, actually. However, my relationship to Laswell is kinda weird: Every odd album released (Good Movie, Three Flights from Alto Nido, and Landline) are very optimistic and upbeat, while the even albums (through toledo, Take a Bow, and Everyone Thinks I Dodged a bullet) seem to be more down. Maybe that's just me. Then again, I relate so much to this song, especially since it came out after my last breakup. ("Everyone thinks I dodged a bullet" meaning I managed to avoid a potential heartbreak with someone who might've been unstable, "but I think I shot the gun" meaning I feel like I was the one who hurt her even though she broke up with me).
It also didn't help that, during the time of this album's production, Laswell had divorced Ingrid Michaelson.
Was watching blacklist and had to pause it to find this song. Holy crap if this isnt the best breakup song ever!
