Don't flash 4.3 RC1 if you're using GPS rescue. The GPS arrow as well as flight path is wrong, was fixed with RC2!
Experimental Betaflight 4.3 RC2 XING tune. Please test with care, works perfect for me!
Should have a lot less filter delay but better Setpoint tracking. I'd fly this with the 50hz CRSF locked mode, dynamic mode is messy and not properly supported by 4.3 with FeedForward. Please check it out. My recommendation: Setup your CRSF rx with locked 50hz RF mode, then apply the 4.3 Preset for CRSF 50hz.

Thank You very much for this review. You're the first to do one on The Protek 60. This is a "Cool" drone but my hesitation is for a mere $200. more. I could get the awesome X8 octiquad. Big and mean. I could chase the neighbors around all day as The X8 has a longer flight time and a big deep sound. Please don't worry. I wouldn't chase the neighbors around all that long as batteries cost too much to buy a bunch. Thanks again.

Hey man, thanks for sharing! I'm trying to decide between this drone and the Taurus X8, I'd be super grateful of your advice. With regards to the Protek60, my first question is with only 4 motors lifting quite a heavy payload, do you think the motors will wear out quickly being under such load all the time? Also, are these motors reliable and if one motor fails do you think it's still possible to land the drone fairly safely? I like that this drone has the prop guards and is slightly more affordable than the Taurus X8, but the big advantage of the X8 is that it has slightly longer flight times, it also has far better failsafes with 8 motors, and with 8 motors there's less load on the motors with carrying the payload. Thanks for your help!
Those 4 motors are totally fine for 3kg (my rig) and cruising. If you want to get more flight time or power for some acrobatics, it's definitely not your choice.
@@xingtheiflightinsider Thanks for your help, I think this would be a good choice for me as I'll be using a small mirrorless camera setup similar to you and not looking to do acrobatics, just smooth cinematic flying.

They need to test some 6 and 8 blades props with this product to see if the noise level can drop. Really nice form factor.
My motors are super hot with the payload! Are you having the same issue on 60???
Hey cheers for your videos.. Can you tell iflight to get the battery quick release's up on their webstore? They've added them since my purchase but only as an add on when buying the drone. They need to be available separately

yeah, a little bit. This ducted "Protek" sound just a little more annoying and little louder if you want...
