It'd be quite awkward seeing a fully grown up version of your daughter in a Spiderman costume while you're carrying your daughter. Tho seeing a variant of you that's still a baby actually sounds cool imp.

Meanwhile on Peter's side, Gwen must look a bit different due to the hair. Not to mention unlike Gwen, Peter has been Spider Man for years. He probably moved on a long time ago.

He probably just moved on after some sort of "Spider-man Blue" experience he had, also considering that when he met her events such as Aunt May's death, MJ's divorce and y'know being transported to another universe where much more recent he pretty much had bigger things to deal with

They would later on get back together and have that child. This takes place during their brake up
