I needed this video so badly… I am currently at stage 4 and I’ve blown a few accounts. Now I’m finally starting to see where I’m going wrong. Lately I’ve been focused on the 4H time frame for pullbacks and confirmations. I’ve also been a lot more patient. My two favorite pairs to trade are Gold and GJ. I also had a bit of beginners luck during stage 3 as well. Trading is a crazy journey but I love it and I am never stopping. Thank you for this video!

Mark Douglas suggested taking 20 trades with a mechanical system , exact entry , exact risk , exact exit ....no room for opinion or emotion ...exact to the pip ...have to take every trade in your trading window no exceptions ....as no one knows which one will go your way ....i have back tested using this formula and it works ....execution has to be flawless so much practice is required .
If you can maintain a proper trading plan, good risk to reward ratio, working strategy, patience and emotion control. Then you can definitely escape this circle of doom. ❤️
Learning to trade FX is like climbing a mountain. You reach your first peak, only to realize that there is a taller peak to conquer next. Either you keep climbing or you turn back
1-5% a month makes sense for me.. I haven’t failed my MFF challenge but I’m on my third free retake. Each time I get around 5% , I get excited and I force things and things get ugly. It’s annoying 🌊
Nick i really want to say something. Being transparent is going to be harmful to some of the fake lambo fx traders and some scammers in a comment section. Those who are new to the trading then listen to him he is the truth behind the dark secret behind forex ,which is never revealed. I wish i could have listened to him before putting money in a live account . He never meant to say that dont come into the trading he is just trying to explain too much gain means too much risk. Thats what i get to learn live during my starting to trading.
i have done worse when i was a beginner. i didn't have any strategy at all. i gambled and profited $211 then $600 and then some (beginner's luck). got too greedy and overconfident, went all in and lost all my life's savings plus 4 thousand dollars debt
Break the cycle -I break the cycle of Overtrading . -I break the cycle of revenge trade . -I just accept losses as I win . Both are normal but I must lose small use small lot size as per my account size.
good video. gotta show forward testing some love too. almost more than backtesting depending on the strategy. also with proper money management 10% a month is easy. the hardest obstacle is the self.
Well inever hit the stage 3 part ihit 1, 2 , skipped 3 been on stage 4 since I’ve been in this business 2yrs now starting to approach stage 3 ,....slowly
My advice to anyone reading is to read and listen to Trading in the Zone everyday for the next 2 years and keep your trades as small as possible. The urge to size up after a win streak is real but I flubbed my first account.
great information and understanding that people seem to think they can pick this up and start trading in a week i have been studying the same thing for 2 years solid with some pitfalls BUt i know full time traders that use these methods and learning will only drive me there to achieve this also, no changing and more studying for me

Nick - great stuff as always - long time follower - it would be great if you would do a video, about how many pairs you trade, your management of how many trades your in at once, how many trades you take per week or per month on average including the time frames you review and the time frames you trade on just to get some perspective. I think I'm trying to watch too many pairs at once, which is causing one to overtrade which adds stress and too much market exposer - would really appreciate your thoughts on this topic. I recently came across your channel and been following it for past 4 days and I think that after seeing your videos and listening to your views, I have to change the way I trade or just quit trading :) . I made 1250 $ from 25 $ in 2 months, but as you said, I am consistently loosing my equity and now I have just 80$ equity left and rest is just balance. Unable to cope with greed that market offers. Just as yesterday when the EUR/USD pair was fluctuating and caught the wrong side of the flow :( . Don't know how to recover. Anyways thanks for your suggestions.

Hey Nick, I know an important part of your strategy is fundamental analysis. When doing backtesting, is it just purely technical for you? since you dont know whats going on fundamentally from like months or years ago.
Good question Vasco. Majority of my backtesting is technical, yes. When it comes to fundamentals though, I do look on a bigger level at cause and effects of major events. For example, we can look at the average 3 month performance of the US dollar after a fed rate hike, and see what our bias could be
