@@drtidrow It was the “running man” dance that exposed it. The body had encountered an object like a wall and instantly stopped but all four limbs kept running along. If it wasn’t for that I might have gotten to the end thinking I saw a real combat video!
@@austinevplab7167 I hadn't noticed one of those instances, but I did see a few trees made up of flat texture-mapped polygons - that's another dead giveaway.
The sound repeats at least three times. Besides every bad guy holds his rifle exactly the same. 12.7 machine guns mounted on pickup trucks just don't disappear when hit. Tracers or not the bullits from 30mm chain gun don't show as big brite balls with tails. Same short burst of gun from 130 never more never less.

Instead of shots coming in from the side they would look much better mid screen level then dropping straight down onto and around the target. I’m so I’m so excited to finally see someone make this game!!!!!

Great looking video game! If you could just mimic the "heat signatures" left after the fragments and explosions you would have something that would be super hard to tell from the real thing... Pretty damn close though! 👍

Thank God I live in the greatest country in the world and dont have to face it in war. Granted it's not against china or Russia but we have something they dont. Millions of civilians that are armed and ready to use it if we're ever attacked.

Oh boy, this is something I didn't want to win, lol. At the end of the video I was looking for more "footage" from these guys and saw they had a "simulator" clip. I didn't realize until I read the comments that this wasn't real, lol. Right on whoever made this!

I read the description for this video after I watched it. I realized it was like a video game when at 6:26 just before the missile hit the truck the guy standing in the bed with the machine gun disappeared before the blast. 🤪 Pretty realistic if you ask me.

Not an AC 130 gunship. Definitely an Apache helicopter. AC 130 doesn’t have missiles or a chain gun. Still a good video.
Well theres what seems like a few 105mm rounds dispersed, and the ac 130 has an almost chain gun, but in this the chain gun is just like an ah-64 and yeah ac 130 doesnt have missles or rockets either.
It does. The AC-130J Ghostrider has the 30mm GAU-23 and AGM-176 Griffin. Add to that some GBU39 guided bombs and the 105mm M102 howitzer.
Most AC-130 versions had mini-guns/chain guns anyway...
Flight arc is clearly an AC-130's as well.
The AC-130W Stinger II has similar upgraded armament as well. The Spectre, which you most likely thought of, is not even in service anymore... since 2015.

Even the most modern manpads and heat seek shoulder fired missiles need visual acquisition to start off with. That is why usually far shots with scoped weapons or high altitude at night is the standard . This game seems the weapon platform (ac130?) is very close so it might not be too worried about manpads. Even when Apache is the platform, they are so far off at night and running dark the enemy can’t see them unless they notice the flash of muzzle. This is not always very easy, especially with flashes already going on all around you. You will notice in most real videos, there is several seconds between shot and contact. The velocity of a 30mm round is 3,324 FPS. 3 seconds to impact is almost 2 miles away(at night in loud combat zone).
But yes , these platform are most effective if enemy radars and and jets in the area have already been compromised.

I’m just pointing out the same point you are making with slight additional info about manpads.
These gunship platforms only operate under the umbrella of air superiority. You won’t see these operations until the enemy has no jets, sa10(and the like) operating in the area. These platforms in most situations are for troop support while they enjoy having Air supremacy in the AO. I don’t have to google anything.I know what you mean, just pointing out that shoulder fired anti air missiles have in most cases a very limited capability at night as the operator has to actually see the aircraft he is shooting at. If all the sams in the area are compromised by their radar being destroyed or shut down out of risk of destruction, these support platforms have little to worry about. As long as there is an EAf18 in the air launching agm88s at the deadly Sam systems, the ac130 and ah64 don’t need to worry about the big stuff.

There is nothing heroic in vanquishing an enemy like this.
The weapons such as the missile and the gun sounded like an apache.
cause they are, sound clips were simply applied to the video of the gameplay, which is odd cause if you're gonna try to make the game seem more real, you kinda have to use the right sounds for the right weapons
