The General Hospital Directing Team took home the Emmy for the Outstanding Direction in a Daytime Drama Series for their work on the ABC daytime drama series at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Directors Robert Markham, Tina Keller, Allison Reames and more chatted with Michael Fairman at the Daytime Emmys Winners Walk immediately following their victory.
The team revealed the episodes they submitted that won them the award which included the tribute episode to Sonya Eddy and her character of Epiphany Johnson. The directors also shared their thoughts on the recent death of former GH cast member, Johnny Wactor, and what it was like to work with him during his time on the soap.
