It is not a defect, the problem was in the screw, and the blade, but mostly the problem is in the screw, the screw might be thick so you cannot set it close as you wanted. Also the hole in the blades are sometimes small so thats why, only thing you can do is buy a new better blade and screw (that might come with the blade that you will buy)

Bought this as a Christmas gift and the larger one hasn’t even turned on but when I plug the charger in it shows “er” and doesn’t increase the battery at all. Do you have any tips or is it just a faulty product. I’ve noticed a few people have that same scenario on the reviews. So disheartening.

The trimmer is already zero gapped but not even, just like the kemei 1949 you cannot set the blade the way you want it.

I have one of these and the blade came loose. It wobbles side to side horribly. Wondering if I should send out to repair or just throw it away. I kinda like the trimmer. But don’t want to throw away money. Any advice ?

When blade height is adjusted correctly, yes. Definitely not if you've ruined it and it only moves to 2 of it's 5 positions
