Students will be taught only in the foreign languages for three years in BA. They will have time and environment to prepare for civil services.

Sir ..I have geography as my optional subject in upsc ...as u suggest sir ..will it be very tough to manage both if I intend to work hard?? Because ab international relations ki syllabus mujhe alag se prepare krni padengi for upcoming entrance of jnu
The MA Geography course will be intensive. But some students are able to manage both. It's for you to decide how to manage time for both. Best wishes

Sir I have done foundation course of GS and Geography optional from Vaziram . will i get enough (~6-7 hours) time to prepare for IAS in MA geography afterr classes and assignments. As i am attempting for 2023. should i take admission in political science keeping in view overlapping of syllbus of essay and ethics paper. please reply.
In JNU, MA Geography and MA Political Science (subject code POLM) are both time consuming courses. Comparatively MA in IR (subject codes IRAM, PSIM) will be manageable.

There is no course in jnu that is compatible with your optional both content-wise and time management-wise.

In JNU, BA is available only in foreign languages. You can apply for any course such as BA in Pol Sci Or History Or Economics or Sociology in other universities.

History in JNU is an intensive course. You need to be able to manage both simultaneously. Else, it will become a burden.

Both are good bro. You could choose DU if it's nearer to you.

All departments in the School of International Studies are compatible at PhD level. Even from other departments at PhD level, a student can manage time for both.
