Having seen almost 50-60 students from JNU qualifying UPSC CSE every year and also to answer your queries on whether JNU is suitable for UPSC Civil Services Exam preparation, I am sharing with you info on the facilities available for JNU students which help them to prepare for and qualify competitive exams in public services.

Dada i had a question,, from west bengal,,, i am doing my graduation in ancient indian history from visva bharati currently,, can i do master degree in political science from CUCET PG?? In JNU.Or should I take history??
You can do MA in political science as long as you pass the CUET PG entrance exam for political science subject.
Explain in a little more simple way,,, because there is no CUCET MA practice in our university. Therefore, we have to do master's degree with the subject that we have to take for graduation, no other subject can be done.
Bhaiya I want to do my masters in geography from JNU and I am also preparing for upsc, kya mujhe iss department me time mil payega, my optional is geography, main iss saal bhu LLB chhor di hu waha time bilkul nhi mil rha tha kya yaha bhi aaisa hi condition rahega.

Hello sir, thank u for such a wonderful insight. I observed that you mentioned financially weakness as criteria several times. Actually I was willing to join jnu to do ma in sociology side by side with my upsc prepration.
Upsc is my Frist priority and that's all. Is it worth to enroll into jnu because I don't wanna invest much time in ma course. Please give honest opinion.
Sociology course work will be intensive. It will be difficult to manage both if you want good grades in MA also.
