It seem that LaLa just wanted to use Katie for a story in the show in negative light against Ariana… but it’s ok for Katie to not bring up negative past stuff on the show that can affect their business. Regardless if what Lala was saying is true or not, she was not being a good friend and is a sell out.

Lala and her whole personna is so crafted. She even gets a whole new accent (a very sus one) when she's 'mad'. She seems so insincere to me at least, so I'm bound to think she wanted Katie to recreate a scene of something that had happened so it could fit this narrative surrounding a villain Ariana. Katie was the only one who spoke up when Sandoval said the George Floyd stuff on his interview, so I don't think she plays the game of the producers too much.

It's like drinking water and taking electrolytes.
