I disagree with you with the Emily/heather issue. Heather most like never had a weight issue so she has no idea what it is like to work hard to lose weight and still be “the big girl” of the group. IF there was one skinny girl in jeans Emily wouldn’t feel what she felt. That was the isolation and showing the “big girl”. Think of those photos that are blank and white and one place that is colored…it emphasized the odd one out. I totally get what Emily felt…she wanted to be one of the girls NOT highlighted and in her mind/emotions “the big girl” of the group.
I think even if you didn't mean to hurt someone or trigger them, when they tell you that you have at least listen to them and tey to see where they're coming from so you don't do it again.

This is the best season they've had in several years. I am glad to see that Shannon was able to kind of get away from all the BS this episode. There were moments in this episode with Emily where I really did feel her, as a big girl myself I know what those insecurities are. I do think though Heather was very icy and cold and didn't give her a real apology. And just Alexis being like "I'm a broken bird," bitch shut up
Apologize for what? She said the designer asked several people to bring something from home. It was part of the concept, I.e., these clothes will fit into your existing wardrobe. Of course, self-centered Emily has to make everything about herself.
I think since Jen is putting her foot down, her son would rather be with his dad because there’s more leniency. It sucks how your child would basically say You’re smothering them. As a parent, of course you want your child to excel in life, especially if you’re an adult and still struggling to take care of yourself. I think like Jen, when you’re young you don’t think about it until you become an adult and it’s not too late but it’s harder.

Honestly, even if Shannon decided to say, hey everything I said John did wasn’t true, I believe people wouldn’t believe it. Even if I thought Shannon over exaggerated some things I don’t think everything she said was false. Emily needs to focus on her mental health in regards to her weight loss. Though she's doing the work and lost the weight, in her mind she's still a large woman and can't get past that wall. Theres a reason why surgeons request that patients have a mental eval before and after major cosmetic surgey or any surgey that will change their outward appearance. Not to mention she's in California, I mean hello! Its the home of Hollyweird. Where the pressure to be a certain build is extremely high and she wants to be a part of that crew/aesthetic.
I feel like she should have maybe tried to stop just for herself to see if she could, but maybe she thinks because she was drinking so much and so often that now she's not drinking as much and as often is proof enough for herself that she isn't an alcoholic ?

This doesn't excuse this, she still could've killed someone, and she still got out and tried to pretend she was walking her dog. I've seen people blame her ex, but she chose to get into a car. Yes he's awful, but so is she at this point to be doing shows drinking publicly after not just getting a dui but doing all of this. Yes, she can be forgiven, but she's not sorry...
I don’t want to call her an alcoholic. I agree with what she said her therapist said, that she shouldn’t use alcohol as a coping mechanism. Hopefully she’s found different ways to help cope with her issue. IMO I don’t find a problem having a drink as long as she’s not driving. Not gonna lie I do cringe a little when I see her ordering a drink, but it could be because the cameras intentionally make sure to zoom in on it.
Acknowledge Kempire is a Heather stan, but Heather could 100% hear Emily out and offer a hug and apology b/c she TOLD Emily to bring those jeans! I'm glad Emily has done enough work to know it wasn't malicious but she was still an involved character in the spiral she experienced. I don't know why Heather and Tamara got offended when Emily actually never said Heather did anything wrong.
Heather did sincerely apologize to Emily but I think she felt like Emily was blaming in front of the group instead of pulling her aside. I agree they should have talked privately and Heather given Emily a hug. Heather is very confident, self assured, intelligent and naturally thin and that makes Emily more insecure. Emily has body dysmorphia it happens when people undergo a transformation. Your body is different but your brain sees old you. Emily is insecure. If Heather was a good friend, she would have approached Emily different. Simply allow her to vent, acknowledge her feelings without being defensive, reassure her and don't interrupt ur friend of she is venting. Emily knows that she is the biggest oc housewife . As far as the dress goes not all size 12s fit the same . A size 12 is rare in runway. I do believe Heather without being mindful gave the designer the measurements. The designer then told Heather to have Emily bring a pair of pants. Heather then relayed to Emily without thinking well why did she only request jeans for Emily. See Emily might wear a 10 in her favorite designers dresses but this designer her measurements equate to a size 12. Emily being sensitive reacts. I just think tgis whole season is a reminder to be more aware and kinder.
I loved loved loved the GLAAD awards moment 🌈 I was really confused by Alexis’ issue until she said saying “Johnny” just comes with too much baggage, and then the whole Emily thing really confused me!!!!! She looked so good in the dress, she looks great and it saddened me that she was so hurt about it

It’s societal standards! And living in Orange County with most of her friends being slimmer. Therapy doesn’t fix society, and luckily kids growing up these days are rejecting those standards but it’s engrained in older generations. And Heather (yes I’m a Heather hater, she’s a mean girl!) is another designer not being size inclusive. Her line is out and she has “European sizing” on her ugly $500 pants with an elastic waist. I think Emily should’ve had a side conversation if she felt some kind of way. Heather did say she gave the stylist all their size measurements so it’s not really her fault. Now in Heathers confessional I think she said something I didn’t like, but I don’t think she did anything intentional to hurt Emily‘s feelings. I think that Emily was already mad. She doesn’t like Alexis and she felt as though Alex was trying to put herself in a situation for no reason and it was annoying. I was annoyed and I wasn’t even there. I can empathize with Emily. I understand why she would be so sensitive and dysregulated. I can also see why after putting tireless work, labor, and stress into a massive event that was THIS important and personal, Heather would have little to no bandwidth to take feedback in front of everyone that she was inconsiderate. This should have been a one-on-one conversation. But Emily made it a spectacle. She's really dysregulated and rude when she drinks, esp around her triggers Jen(mother issues) and Heather(body issues).

What I didn't like was when Heather and Tamra were speaking about Emily's insecurities in the kitchen and they said "It was a fashion show for charity, there are bigger issues in the world" or whatever... Umm, yes sure but that's one way to minimize someone's pain and really shows how they have NO IDEA how debilitating body image issues can be for some people. Or just feeling like you're being treated differently from your friend group or in a social setting due to race, financial status, weight, ethnicity etc etc... Everyone should be sensitive to that and Heather needed to just listen to her.. Nobody said it was something she did maliciously but it was a trigger.
It's not an NDA that she wants signed it's a non-disparagement clause. Which by the way regardless of if they settle or not he would still technically have to sign one. Honestly, even if Shannon decided to say, hey everything I said John did wasn’t true, I believe people wouldn’t believe it. Even if I thought Shannon over exaggerated some things I don’t think everything she said was false. So if the only reason why John wants to pursue the lawsuit was to clear his name, that will NEVER happen especially after this season.

Emily needs to focus on her mental health in regards to her weight loss. Though she's doing the work and lost the weight, in her mind she's still a large woman and can't get past that wall.
Theres a reason why surgeons request that patients have a mental eval before and after major cosmetic surgey or any surgey that will change their outward appearance.
Not to mention she's in California, I mean hello! Its the home of Hollyweird. Where the pressure to be a certain build is extremely high and she wants to be a part of that crew/aesthetic.

I've seen people blame her ex, but she chose to get into a car. Yes he's awful, but so is she at this point to be doing shows drinking publicly after not just getting a dui but doing all of this.

I don’t want to call her an alcoholic. I agree with what she said her therapist said, that she shouldn’t use alcohol as a coping mechanism. Hopefully she’s found different ways to help cope with her issue. IMO I don’t find a problem having a drink as long as she’s not driving. Not gonna lie I do cringe a little when I see her ordering a drink, but it could be because the cameras intentionally make sure to zoom in on it.

Acknowledge Kempire is a Heather stan, but Heather could 100% hear Emily out and offer a hug and apology b/c she TOLD Emily to bring those jeans! I'm glad Emily has done enough work to know it wasn't malicious but she was still an involved character in the spiral she experienced. I don't know why Heather and Tamara got offended when Emily actually never said Heather did anything wrong.
Heather did sincerely apologize to Emily but I think she felt like Emily was blaming in front of the group instead of pulling her aside. I agree they should have talked privately and Heather given Emily a hug. Heather is very confident, self assured, intelligent and naturally thin and that makes Emily more insecure.
BTW, Emily rocked that dress. She has womanly curves that really helped take the dress up a notch.

Saying sorry does not automatically equate blame/accountability. Like, you got hurt during my event, I'm so sorry it was so difficult and triggering for you. She said in the first episode she is taking some type of Ozempic and working out. If you really felt this way you should have said something at the jump! Heather was checking in on everyone during the fashion show. It’s not Heathers responsibility to make sure YOU feel ok. Just say it. Leave Heather alone!!!
Emily has body dysmorphia it happens when people undergo a transformation. Your body is different but your brain sees old you. Emily is insecure. If Heather was a good friend, she would have approached Emily different. Simply allow her to vent, acknowledge her feelings without being defensive, reassure her and don't interrupt ur friend of she is venting. Emily knows that she is the biggest oc housewife . As far as the dress goes not all size 12s fit the same . A size 12 is rare in runway. I do believe Heather without being mindful gave the designer the measurements. The designer then told Heather to have Emily bring a pair of pants. Heather then relayed to Emily without thinking well why did she only request jeans for Emily. See Emily might wear a 10 in her favorite designers dresses but this designer her measurements equate to a size 12. Emily being sensitive reacts. I just think tgis whole season is a reminder to be more aware and kinder.

She looked so good in the dress, she looks great and it saddened me that she was so hurt about it

Emily needs therapy. I think she’s triggered because she’s been working on her body via surgery, medication and exercise for over a year and her body still isn’t where she wants it to be.

It’s societal standards! And living in Orange County with most of her friends being slimmer. Therapy doesn’t fix society, and luckily kids growing up these days are rejecting those standards but it’s engrained in older generations. And Heather (yes I’m a Heather hater, she’s a mean girl!) is another designer not being size inclusive. Her line is out and she has “European sizing” on her ugly $500 pants with an elastic waist. The largest size would not fit Emily and that’s why she made her bring her own jeans.
I don’t understand why Shannon wants to continue drinking so soon after the incident… it’s really concerning and yes, Tamra’s execution is horrible, but I’m surprised more of the ladies aren’t calling it out
I think Emily should’ve had a side conversation if she felt some kind of way. Heather did say she gave the stylist all their size measurements so it’s not really her fault. Now in Heathers confessional I think she said something I didn’t like, but I don’t think she did anything intentional to hurt Emily‘s feelings. I think that Emily was already mad. She doesn’t like Alexis and she felt as though Alex was trying to put herself in a situation for no reason and it was annoying. I was annoyed and I wasn’t even there. So that part with Emily, reacting to Alexis I understand.
I sided with heather on this one, she did apologize, and said "I am so sorry", she was genuinely sad she felt that way. I also feel like she could have heard Emily out a little more, I think she just wanted to vent about her experience and how she felt. he saying "my turn" was like okay snobby heather is back in the convo again lol. Alexis deserved her lashing, butt out and mind your business. She just wanted a moment that didn't involve John lol

I can empathize with Emily. I understand why she would be so sensitive and dysregulated. I can also see why after putting tireless work, labor, and stress into a massive event that was THIS important and personal, Heather would have little to no bandwidth to take feedback in front of everyone that she was inconsiderate. This should have been a one-on-one conversation. But Emily made it a spectacle. She's really dysregulated and rude when she drinks, esp around her triggers Jen(mother issues) and Heather(body issues).
Emily's "head" has not caught up to her weight-loss. It would behoove Emily if she works on her head...she's beautiful 😊😊
Emily is insecure about her size. She is always upset about what she eats and how she feels. She attempted to blame it on Heather and that is NOT fair. Kate is so jealous of Heather that she always says negative things every chance she gets. Kate needs to be authentic and like herself so that she stops being jealous of Heather. Emily needs to stop fat-shaming herself. She loves food that's why her favorite scent when asked was tacos?? Emily own it you love food and that is OK. Emily should not get a testosterone shot. She's aggressive on a good day. Her insecurities are her insecurities. She shouldn't bring them up to Heather and make it sound like Heather was in the wrong.
What I didn't like was when Heather and Tamra were speaking about Emily's insecurities in the kitchen and they said "It was a fashion show for charity, there are bigger issues in the world" or whatever... Umm, yes sure but that's one way to minimize someone's pain and really shows how they have NO IDEA how debilitating body image issues can be for some people. Or just feeling like you're being treated differently from your friend group or in a social setting due to race, financial status, weight, ethnicity etc etc... Everyone should be sensitive to that and Heather needed to just listen to her.. Nobody said it was something she did maliciously but it was a trigger.

Very rarely do people get one lump sums, and truth be told it would actually be more than the 75 k because it would also be lawyers fees cuz usually if someone loses a lawsuit they also have to cover the lawyer's fees
Hey greetings from London UK here. IMO Emily has had resentment for Heather ever since she returned to the show and became friendly with Gina, she’s always having a dig at Heather, it’s getting boring now.
Emily weaponized her tears and insecurities to attack Heather who literally did nothing against her. She looked like an idiot whimpering about herself when they were at an event intended to help people with real problems. Emily is self-centered, rude and jealous.
No women don’t share that mess! Those are not bonding moments! Weird and gross!
I think people need to consider the kids and just let this play out the way it’s gonna play out and stop talking about it all together every day his kids wake up to somebody else God is gonna see that justice is served.
I like Shannon, but it’s not a good look for her to constantly drink wherever she goes. And I know she’s not driving, but still, drinking on stage after talking about the accident was rock bottom? That was too much for me. I’m starting to believe she loves drinking more than being sober; it’s almost like she can’t function without alcohol. Until she admits she has a problem, this is only going to get worse.

I wish Katie didn’t come in coming for Heather. Like you said, I think Katie is a perfect fit. I’m not gonna lie I think Tamra is using her daughter as a storyline. I could be wrong because her daughter wasn’t allowed to say anything when she was younger, but to see how her other daughter was upset about being on/ or mentioned on camera, kind of rubs me the wrong way.
I can understand Emily feeling upset. What other clothes fashion show would ask a model to wear their own jeans? They had Emily's measurements, either make her some trousers or only have her walk in the other two outfits and not the shirt. It did look weird that the rest were all in black and white and she was wearing blue jeans.
Speaking of weird, Alexis getting upset and demanding attention and sympathy that her new boyfriend is suing his ex is just rediculous. How is this upsetting for Alexis? It's nothing to do with Alexis and if it is effecting her, it's John's fault. If he took the installments it would be paid off by now. Emily is right that if John wants us to all think he's a good guy he's going the wrong way about it.

I agree with Emily, how is it that everyone else had on black pants or a black skirt by Heather, and Emily was the only one asked to bring jeans. If she didn’t have her size in pants, why not at least tell her to bring a black skirt or pants. At least she would have looked like the rest of the women. Or, have some of the other women in jeans also. I like Heather, but I think Heather did it deliberately.

Emily is manipulative. She tried her best prior season to make Heather the villain and when that didn’t work she’s working another angle. I get it of the OC housewives Emily has the most humor, but I’ve always find her jokes laced with a little meanness. I didn’t think Heather owed her anything….plus Emily looked Great. I’m definitely in the minority but Shannon IMO has always had an air of inauthenticity. And in the eppy, it just seem to be her trying hard too be the put upon. We get it John is a douche and a horrible man, no need to oversell it. In a weird way, Shannon and Alexis are similar and they both have a “type” when it comes to men. Maybe they both need to examine why they choose the men they do. What was also a hmmm moment for me was when Shannon said “her and John use to strategize scenes.”
