The UK‘s list would probably look similar if they had to break down all of their ingredients like over here in the US since it’s required by law. Wish that was mentioned in the videos but they probably don’t know.

Seriously, the ingredient list as per usual people get wrong. The 'obsure chemicals' are just the scientific names of the plain and simple ingredients. I.e. the Enriched Flour has things like Thiamine and Riboflavin which are just the scientific name for different types of Vitamin B.

Awesome blokes! I worked at night delivering pizza for Dominos in college and after for 5 years. The stories of nudity, drunkiness, robberies, car crashes, police interaction, drugs, wild frat parties are endless. One lady came into our shop very irate said "there's cochroaches in my pizza!". The manager looked at it and replied with care "ma'm those are black olives". She looked again: "sir, olives don't have legs".

The FDA regulations on listing ingredients are a bit more stringent than in the UK or the EU. Just about everything in the US dough list, aside from the vitamins added to the enriched flour (B1,B2,B3,B9, and Iron), which for some reason is pretty rare over there, is probably included in the premix at below UK required listing levels, with the exception of L-cysteine which is a non-essential amino acid (meaning your body makes it on its own) and is used as a dough conditioner and probably not used over there. Same goes for the cheese (UK doesn't even list that milk and whey and enzymes are necessary for making cheese).

I can't tell you when I last had a Domino's pizza. I've never enjoyed them. And they're on the pricey side for "formula" pizza. We have Little Caesar's here and they have the $5 Hot and Ready pizza. It's not a great pizza but for $5 and you're in a hurry to just grab something to eat, it's not terrible. I'm with Daz, though, if I want a pizza, I either 1., make it myself or 2., get it from a good local pizza place.
We recently discovered a bake-at-home pizza from Aldi that we really enjoy - $2.99! Leaves Dominos and Little Caesar's in the dust! And because it has a thick crust, it's filling.
Gotta share my pizza joke. Heard this more than 35 years ago and it's still good. Of course, the first time I heard it was on a bus trip home from Purdue University in Indiana after a 5 day conference in mid-July. Hot, exhausted, and very very hungry. One of the women I was with told this: I guy walks into a pizza joint and orders a pizza. After detailing everything he wants on it, the waitress asks, "Would you like that cut in 6 pieces or 8?" He thinks a moment and says, "Oh, SIX! I could never eat eight!"

But ironically, there was an English style place named Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips, which had a location not far from my house and just happened to also have incredible wings. Almost every Friday night, my family would get pizza from various pizza shops and wings from Arthur Treacher's.

was in the dominos business for a long time. A large pepperoni pizza INCLUDING the BOX cost 1 dollar and 6 cents to make. Sells for 13.99. the more toppings you order the less of each topping you will get. This is because of oven and cooking times. Ovens are usually around 550 degrees and takes 4 minutes to go through the oven. Cheese is the most expensive topping and even when you order Extra cheese, you are not getting much for that extra dollar. my advice, do not order from dominoes unless you just want something to fill up a party.

Papa John’s do pizza sauce as an option as well as buffalo sauce and special garlic which is the business. Our pizza chains aren’t up to much though agreed. Only use them for the deals and because the kids like them. Like Daz said you’re better off using the Italian restaurants for the best pizza.

America has so much pizza competition it is just unreal. Many Americans make their own pizza nowadays since it is healthier, you can make more and it is tastier.

Everyone says get “New York” pizza, but don’t realize that New York’s pizza is only as good as it is thanks to being next to New Jersey. Stop by any boardwalks, like Seaside, LBI, Wildwood, or Ocean City in Jersey and they’ll have some of the best pizza in the world. Not only on the Boardwalks, but also the Family Owned pizzerias all over the State. NJ is also the Diner Capital of the World, so the people there definitely know how to make food.

@@liamengram6326 Sorry man, All the Smelly parts of Jersey are near NYC. And besides, Jersey has the best pizza cause of all the poor Italians who couldn’t afford to live in NY. My Dad is from NY, so I’ve had my fair share of pizzas there. They don’t hold a candle, but I respect the strong defense. Pizza is just pizza though, and all that matters is that each state’s is definitely somewhat unique

If it wasn´t for the US the UK would have no one to slag off when it came to food standards... I was in London and was surprised to find out that Brits put MAYONAISE in kebabs, and on top they leave out the healthy part... the salad...!!! I asked what types of dressings they had and the guy hilariously said "None mate"... 😂
