- Welcome to my second Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition TH-cam Shorts. In this short I am in the Original Campaign (OC) and I am in Chapter 1. This is the Meldanen Boss fight with my ally Linu. Meldanen isn't even the boss of this area. His ice storm spamming cheating apprentice is.
Officially, he is the boss of this area. I agree that I've felt too that cheap MFer with the love for Ice Storm is the real boss.
This short uses the Beamdog HD patch and it is on their site. It also uses the Toon feature from one of the latest NWN EE PC patches. I hope this updated sticky helps.
This is something I wanted to experiment for awhile. Anyways question of the short, Favorite boss to beat down in chapter 1.

That was pure luck on both ends. It's a fun fight to do again in toon mode.

Graphics looks great, do you use any mods?
I did use the HD patch from Beamdog with the community fix from Neverwinter Nights Vault site. I did use the the toon shader from the latest patch as of this short release.

@@GutarPlayerMex You are going to love my reply. The PC version you can do this on well this is the steam version also. Just patch up the game PC version any than select toon shader. After that have a blast.

Yo dude, what mod or setting did you used to make game look like borderlands
Two things. First, using the Beamdog HD patch. The second one of the latest patch has a toon shader option that makes this like Borderlands 1.
Witch mod to make the graphic cartoon ish.. fella much better that way.
It is a patch update. It gives the PC version the option for toon shader mode.

I am playing on the PC version. I am using the HD Patch from Beamdog. One of the latest patches gave me the toon shader option. From the graphics menu pick toon and your good to go. I think the description has a link where I have a video on Toon shader option for NWN EE.

@@LordFentonGaming yes it is! It looks surprisingly good for its age. The combat is pretty decent as well. I’ve been dying for a high fantasy Iso and BG3 just didn’t do it for me. I already beat DA:O a few times so this is fresh for me.

Thanks. The devs patch the PC version. With the help of the community they added the Toon Shade option in it. That is why it is all cartoon like. I even made a simple tutorial on how to enable it too.

Sure I can tell you what I did use and what patches. First I used is a PC than follow by the HD Patch Beamdog gave for PC players only. There are other ones that I did use the Toon Shader option from one of the recent patches. I hope this helps.
The cartonish shade is cool Can i use that also in my android phone? It's kinda cool 😊
I am not sure. I know they have a PC only patch. I'd check the device if they did it. If not I hope it comes to that device.
I hate that you can only use one character no party management
They went that style for Neverwinter Nights 1. Good news is that Neverwinter Nights 2 is four party members just like the other D&D games made by others. (One NWN 2 expansion allows you up to 6 with a certain feat).

What class are you using?
At the time of the original campaign started with a bard for the Red Dragon Disciple prestige class along with some fighter levels. So those three classes.

Wow cell shading realy makes this game look new. Is that a mod?
Yes it does. It came from I believe one of the patches. I think a bunch of former devs, current devs and fans got together on this patch. I never look back after I hit the toon shader option for the graphics.

Sure. It is gameplay option. Than you go to Graphics. Click on the toon option and your set to go. This is the PC version this video is.

It was added to the PC version of the Toon Shader option. Go to gameplay in the options menu. After that, graphics and select Toon. You're all set after.
Every time I try to play NWN it just lags so bad no matter what I do with the settings lol
I do is shut every graphics option than turn it on one by one to see what is happening. I lower the resolution too than bump it up until problem happens. The Enhanced Edition added tons of graphics options in it.
