    Sick video as always! Where I live we also have a lot of boulders with no info/guides it makes it fun to be able to show up and play around.

    Love the video, awesome climbing! Yeah I think boulders and routes are mutually beneficial (with in addition to what you said from boulder-> routes, the reverse brings the "thinking on the fly" and fighting through difficulty that can benefit persisting on a boulder send go even when things aren't going absolutely to plan, if that makes sense. Thanks for sharing!

      Fun to be in the booth. For sure it would’ve been fun to be on the mats, there was a little pang of missing out. But fun to be concentrating on the outdoor stuff 😀

    Great looking problem! So the 'proper' sit start is V13 or what you did on video? Looks hard!

    • @TomOHalloranAus
      @TomOHalloranAus  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d say what I did in the video was about V12/13. The sit I think makes it solidly in the V13 range

    Hey Tom ! Just moved back to aus after a period in vancouver and am dreading training/climbing in the heat. Any strategies that you've implemented to help with this? Honestly thinking of just making a small shed with air con and a training wall at this point...

    • @bigdog5112
      @bigdog5112 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Train early morning / night 85-90% of summer nights and mornings should be around 20-24 degrees celcuis combine that with ur shed and ur sorted, it’s not that bad

    aw no sit start vid? i'm guessing it didn't change the grade too substantially? but rad video as always!

    • @TomOHalloranAus
      @TomOHalloranAus  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nah I just wanted a simple little morning and didn’t drag the camera out. I think it added about .5 grade. It was a hard first move to the RH pocket then a couple foot moves to get into the squat start in the vid. I might head back and film it sometime soon 😀
