I love my Terre Verte from Holbein! I struggle to find pre-mixed greens that look natural to me and not too "squeaky". Terre Verte looks just right to me. My mum and I went to an art supply store last week and she ended up buying Chromium Oxide Green twice (as watercolor and as acrylics, I think) just based on the swatches in the store, so I hope she will also like this color. Great video about this underrated color!
Chrome oxide green is indeed an underrated pigment. A week ago I bought six huge boxes of vintage pigments and found 12 kilograms (26 pounds) of PG17 in two shades. Cannot wait to make watercolour paint of the darker shade and compare it to the regular shade.
Thanks for showing this pigment in real use. It’s not one I reach for, I only have it in a couple of brands and it is not in regular rotation. I recently got the Roman Szmal Chromium Oxide Green Deep and it is a stunner for making granulating mixes. It’s heavily granulating, and makes really dark mixes.
Someone else who adores this colour like I do 🎉🎉. It makes the most gorgeous, soft, and muted mixes with just about any colour.
Yesss chromium oxide green is SO underrated
This is so good, such a gorgeous green ☺☺
ii love these pigment exposes!
It is indeed such an interesting color
Would love a look at the swatches once they are dry for comparison shopping. Thanks for this. Subscribed.

I love this pigment 😊it is among my favorites. I am tempted to try rare green earth from Daniel Smith.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of pigment 😮
@gabriellaritaart Yes, I am in Pigment Heaven and still counting my blessings... 😄
I have two tubes of Schmincke's version, and the A Gallo version. It seems to be a fairly consistent colour across all brands.
Yes, I agree ☺️🌸

Oh I wanna try that!! Thank you for sharing 😊🙏🏻
Daniel Smith has the darker version, but it’s more transparent and granulating.
