I taught music for 21 years and nearly have a DMA in performance. Most of the stuff out there is popular music is so shallow, poorly produced, crap musicianship the vocals and lyrics are pathetic. Don't get me started on diction and intonation. You guys, Sam, Kurt, Max and all you other young musicians you bring light to ones soul and really got the groove!

That's because when cover artists cover songs they can change them and add or remove some areas of songs. With the original you can't just release it worldwide to just take it back every time a change is made to make it sound better.
