Both of these singers are so amazing...well if they aren't alone, they are together...I just found this blend because I love the song "Thinking out loud".WOW is all that I can say....looking at the video and at their faces while they are singing side by side, the emotions in their face lets me know that they are either into the song that deep or into a woman that deep. Kinda looks like they are both singing to me.AWESOME....
There is a saying that my grandmother used to tell me, something along the lines of "When your voice melts into theirs, you know it is meant to be". Thought of this while watching visors with these two :) Such a lovely couple.

I used to think these were two really different songs to mash, until I thought about it this way;
One party (Sam) has cheated on the other (Casey) and the first is begging for forgiveness and to come back. The second is discarding all of their declarations of love and excuses saying that it's all worthless and doesn't mean anything now that they've been unfaithful.
Suddenly the juxtaposition makes complete sense!! Just listen to some of the lyrics that are given to each of them. Like in the second bridge, Casey has the bridge from thinking out loud and Sam continues the verse. Casey wonders whether he should take Sam back because 'maybe it's all part of a plan'. Then they join on 'making the same mistakes. Same mistakes for Sam could be his infidelity and for Casey could be ignoring the signs.

A friend of mine died of cancer yesterday. She was young and left a little one behind. She was a beautiful, caring and exceptionally special to me. She sent me this song long ago and said that I would appreciate it and it would make me happy. I'm here now, thinking of her and waiting to feel happy. Rest In Peace, Chantel.

My sincerest condolences for your loss. I first saw this video a couple years after one of my best friends was killed by a drunk driver back in 2013. Since then, this has been something I've watched to cope every time I think about her. Hope things are going well on your end during these troubling times.

you both have absolutely beautiful voices!! these two songs are actually my favorite songs right now. but I can't help but think that the covers would have been better as two separate videos... only because the message of the two songs are so different that they don't match... so the mash up seems forced. Even so... beautiful beautiful cover!
I agree, I thought the two conflicting themes made the video a little off. They both sang beautifully, I love the two songs, and at times the overlap did work, but it just didn't fit for me. It was a lovely video and I'm definitely going to check Casey out!!
