Mintage figures are finally out for 2023, with some very strange figures. Email : mackemmoolah@gmail.com Instagram: / mackemmoolahcoins Facebook: / mackem.moolahcoins.16
Great video and nice to see you 🙂🙂🙂 I did not search for the rest of the denominations actually, lots of low-minted coins there 😱😱😱 we keep hunting for them 👍👍👍
@@mackemmoolah at least we’ve got an answer to why most of us couldn't find Atlantic Salmon. I can’t wait to see how the prices on eBay and Facebook groups will fly up. I found one auction today with a sealed bag of Salmons, a few more days till the end and it is already at a price of nearly £400. Madness 🤯🤯🤯
Hi Glen, strangely seem to have more interest in the 1p, 10 & 20p mintage figures, thats going to make the date runs a bit harder. The 50p mintage did make me chuckle as i know of 1 person on TH-cam who has over 1000 of them. Ive had a quick look at eBay some interesting prices, watched one go time done for £77. People asking up to £150 and sealed bags £800+, but the real fun will be later when people back from work and can list thier hoards 😂😎👍 How did the jabbing go ? 😎👍
Got slightly sore arms as I had a Covid booster as well as the flu jab 😬. Think there should be something put in place to stop people (and post office staff) from getting several sealed bags or even a full £250 bag, from the post offices. It’s giving collectors a really difficult task to find any.
Amazing mintage, so glad I never opened thee one sealed bag. The prices on eBay have shot up, and you can get an annual set from the mint for less than half what they are selling for.
Yep, one sealed bag just went for £1900! So have you started planning your round the world cruise yet? 😂 The only difference is the privy mark on the annual set, which will all be NIFCs, and I expect sales of those sets will be higher than the definitive circulated Salmon.
@@mackemmoolah There are only 10 in sealed bag along with 2020 shields. I do have another 18 loose. I imagine some will go towards more coins for the collection.
Great info Glen some crazy low figures there, the PO could have sent a small amount to every branch like what they did with the Jubilee. Do you know of any area in the NE that got Salmons
I suspect that with all new releases, the Crown post offices tend to get them, which in our case would be the Sunderland City Centre branch. None of the smaller p.o.'s I've been in have seen any at all. The worrying thing, is that the post offices were letting folk have full £250 bags of them. Someone has apparently got over 1000 Salmons, and the Ebay prices have just gone crazy. Factor in the post office staff have probably dipped in to get some as well, which appeared on Ebay the same day they were released, and we have probably no chance of seeing many. I was lucky to get one in a hunt a little while back, but it's going to be like hunting for Kews now 🤷🏻♂
No wonder they are hard to find. But I must admit the post offices are to blame by allowing folk to get multiple bags of them, and most likely their staff nabbing them too.
Not surprised Salmon is so low. Hardly anyone seen one. Wonder which parts of of the UK it was released. Anyway it is a definitive so should not stop people completing their books.
200,000 salmon 50p's? Nah, must be a typo by The Royal Mint. 2 Million more like 😀
I would hope so! 🤞😁
Wow absolutely bonkers Glen 🤯. I'm even more pleased i found one a fortnight ago now 😆.
The prices on Ebay have gone ballistic! 😲
Mad mintage on the 50p. That’ll probably mean the price of the circulating version will be higher than the set version for some time. Mind blown 🤯
I would think so. It seems likely they would fetch a similar price to the Kew at some point.
Wow, 200k only... Thanks for the early update!
Amazingly low 😳
So pleased I have a salmon from a very kind friend, some ridiculous prices on Ebay already. x
Very true. A sealed bag just went for £1900! 😳
Salmon is lower than I expected 😯😳
Just need to keep my eyes open for the other denominations put out in Circulation now 👀
Great stuff Mackemmoolah 👍🏻
There are still quite a few previous circulating years I don’t have, but that Salmon figure is ridiculously low 😳
I’ve done ok on the Salmon 50p 😊
You’ll be able to afford a penthouse suite! 😁
@@mackemmoolah 🤣🤣 don’t think so, I had a bag of twenty, sent most of them out to family and coin collectors, probably got four or five left.🤔🙂
@normangrahammorrison4389 MCollects has just put in the comments that an auction on eBay for a sealed bag is at £400! 😳
Great video and nice to see you 🙂🙂🙂 I did not search for the rest of the denominations actually, lots of low-minted coins there 😱😱😱 we keep hunting for them 👍👍👍
Ridiculously low on nearly all of them 😳

Wow 😮
As expected , market ploy by the royal mint to go under the 210k kew
Maybe they don't expect Charles to last too long as King 🤷🏻♂😂

The mintage of the salmon explains a lot😮
The new Kew. But you’ve found a few Kews so you should have no problem finding a Salmon 😂
@@mackemmoolah still well in single figures on them 😂
😁

200,000 is a mind blowingly low figure!!
Absolutely mental 😳
Eye watering mintage Glen

Your prediction was pretty accurate Ian , well done 😊👍

Still nice to find one though 🙂. I think they were released in Crown post offices only.
😮
Jaw dropping figures 😳😮
