For your information, as both Batam & Bintan (2 major/big Indonesian Islands) are closest to Singapore, so hotels and businesses (shops & F&B outlets, etc.) tends to have majority Singaporean visitors. That's why the prices are more similar to ours. In fact, most of the time they even accept Singaporean currencies (or to exchange) if you ran out of Indonesian Rupiah. Sort of making it more convenient. 😁 Only one country in Southeast Asia have their currency on par with Singapore (and freely used within both countries) is Brunei, and this is legal by both countries' law.

Yes I believe it did have HDMI! It's a standard TV, so I'd be surprised if it didn't.
