[F1] ALX400 Dennis Trident gets pelted on Route 262 [Stagecoach London] [UTTL]

- The last day of Stagecoach operation on the 262 and 473 and as a result this driver decides there's no need for a timetable and floors his trident, arriving at stratford 8 minutes early. Will be a sad day when these tridents are finally gone perhaps spelling the end of them at WH with the loss of the 262 and 473.

Ye, I can agree with that. I managed to get a pretty fast driver on a B9TL 262 from Beckton once and we managed to overtake a Streetdeck at Wigston Road; at that moment, I thought, 'Alright, that's enough from you, we'll take over.' and from Paul Street, we managed to(if I recall correctly) reach 4th gear before we arrived at Stratford Broadway. So the B9TLs are still a W in my book. And the way they slowly slow down sometimes brings a tear to my eye... ;)

I think a few Tridents could potentially remain at West Ham for a short time as spares that can be used on the 97, 241 etc. but I'm not sure how likely that is. Wouldn't surprise me if this is the end of Tridents there
I think it depends on whether they decide to keep the omnicities for the whole of the 97 contract, if so then tridents will be kept as refurb floats but if not then yeah it'll sadly be the end of them there
As far as I know, they have been refurbishing some Scanias but I think some will also be withdrawn just because they don't need so many anymore.
There could be a few more Tridents being withdrawn now that the 262 and 473 have gone to Tower Transit but there weren't that many on it and they weren't even the official allocation, so who knows. My guess is, they'll keep a few as refurb floats and that's it. After they finish refurbs, it's game over for Tridents at West Ham.

West London's Dennis Tridents are basically non-existent since the beginning of 2019. But the numbers started dropping from 2010 realistically: Greenford's Euro 2s and 3s, Brentford's, Alperton's and Hounslow's.

Enviri and the first alx400 was demonstrater in 1997 and now it's in I think Stagecoach Manchester or somewhere else coz it was a R reg which is 1997

Probably did! When I got the other trident on the route earlier in the day I had a snail driver that purposely drove 10 minutes late though.

I got a snail driver that did it on 18211 the first time round. Then on the second time I did it, I got an absolute thrash merchant!
Tried it a third time because I was hoping for an equally thrashy run but with a better camera angle. The thrash wasn't that good and yet it was the same driver and the same bus on the same route. I don't know why :/
