10:20: Green actually has a couple board wipes for creatures. They are generally involving putting something down that fights and kills things. Examples: Ezuri's Predation and Apex Altisaur.
I do like Ezuri's Predation a lot. Apex Altisaur is interesting, ive seen some wild stuff happen with it. At 10 mana its not the easiest thing to get going.
Odric is really sweet with God-Eternal Oketra. I built a version close to the Commanders Quarters version of GE Oketra for my nephew to start playing Magic with and it's been actually kinda cool. Odric is an all-star whenever he shows up.
Its a thing that used to happen. Ive got about 12 right now give or take. Aurelia weapons, Aurelia Angels, Gerrard, Winota, Ur Dragon, Ashling, Josu Vess, Riku Magmatic Force, GE Oketra, a not great Kykar, Sisay Legendary Blades, and Najeela. Partially built ive got Kaalia, Syr Gwyn, and Gargos sitting around 70% completed, a real cute Anowan deck thats about 90% done basically just lands and sleeves, a stack of cards that could be feather deck in a short period of time. Im thinking about my next few building projects, looking at Niv Mizzet Reborn Guildmage tribal, but was onyl able to scrounge up 4 of them. And then also looking at Scion of the Ur Dragon INV/PLC dragons only. So basically 15 different ways to play blackblade reforged and feast and famine :)
I just can't get behind off color lands in decks. I get it that Urborg is not technically a swamp but the fact that it's a visually black land means it should be so seeing this combo in mono white is meh. Feels more at home in orzhov but whatever. I agree that Odric is not the best commander if that combo is the goal tho. Maybe Rune Tail Kitsune? The one that flips into an enchantment if you have 30 or more life and prevents damage to your creatures. Then you can throw out creatures to sit behind and dedicate a little more cards towards draw for the combo.
Darien, King of Kjeldor is another one I've seen play those combos. They tend to do damage to you so he gets to create a bunch of tokens if he's on the field. Throw in a couple of Soul Sisters and you might even be able to gain life off of it.
Very nice, I need to start adding it to decks. Pretty excited about it. Yeah I kind of wish it wasnt mythic. LIke I said i need like 10 of them for my paper decks.
Ya know im not great at understaing the rule, cause i had the question also. IF theres like an effect keeping it there it goes back, but if it was just like a static this is mine now i dont think it does.
@@CommanderReplay I'm pretty sure it depends on who the permanent entered the battlefield under the control of. If it entered under the control of its owner and then was stolen by/given to another player then when the player who stole it leaves the game it goes back to its owners control. If a permanent is somehow put onto the battlefield under the control of a player other than its owner then if the non-owner leaves the game it gets exiled. TL,DR: I'm pretty sure since Dack Fayden stole it while it was on the battlefield it should have gone back to its owners control.
It does work in my Simic Enchantment deck, but it isn't totally required if you don't have it yet. Glad to see someone else play her though! I made it because I knew no one else in my meta would ever build her.
Tishana is fine-- seven mana. No evasion. The best thing Tishana offers is draw and you need creatures to stick for that to even matter. It's one thing to keep one big boy for Return of the Wildspeaker; you need a team for Tishana. But I can see how you wish you'd have something like that in mono white.
My friend paleyd a Tishana food chain deck so im naturally salty toward it. Turn 6 win just about every time. Its just one of those new school type cards that are both the setup and the payoff...its hard for an older player like me to adjust to that. WHen i started you had to sacrifice a creature every upkeep or lose 7 life.
Yeah I noticed the sound thing to. I missed with some settings today, but there’s a few more videos filmed where I hadn’t yet. I’ll need to figure out what happened with the video res Cause I thought that was squared away.
I have a better idea for a commander deck that I can put together on Tappedout.com much easier than the Asmira idea of mine for you to use, and the deck idea is called Kindred Kruphix where you get to do elf tribal with Kruphix at the helm that the enchantment aura Call to the Kindred makes messing your opponents up much easier and possibly causing you to become a big target for the table. Lol

@@CommanderReplay When has mana been ever an issue in monogreen? :-P

Nice I can’t wait to get my kids into commander but there still too young
Speaking of paper Magic (remember paper Magic?), what decks do you have in paper, PJ?

@@CommanderReplay I bought a playset of FaF because no matter what deck you have it's good in.

Love the deck. Odric is so neat.
I love this commander! He can things that makes my heart happy lol
Yeah me too. I need to just make my own build of it, complete with feast and famines and mass double strike!
Also Darien King of Kjeldor (lose life->get soldiers) is great for the urborg/karma combo since it helps you as well as hurting your opponents
Curious about your Oketra deck
Woah I made it into a video! Even if it was just a few seconds!
Odric Wins! Flawless Victory!
My Odric edh deck is one of my favorites that I have. It absolutely slaps
Sweet man. That is the version that I want to build at some point. Mass double strike, a sword or 2 and its party time.
Regarding Mangara- I picked up three. I think he’s the best card draw you can get in mono-white EDH, and his cost has nowhere to go but up.

When Niv player was killed, should Nin death mantle got back to yorvo player??

The best ghostly prison is an untapped solemn simulacrum
Lol yes indeed. No on attacks you all game! You might draw a card
Wish we got to see the combo but a W is a W. I used to love casting Magical Hack on Karma and Angry Mob. Urborg would work wonders with Angry Mob.
You decided to go with oketra nice bet that’s pretty strong my mono white commander deck is currently led by Lyra dawnbringer
35 lands seems sketchy for a curve on 4, regardless, I enjoyed the video greatly. Good job as always
It definitely is a bit, but with a large amount of ramp it could work. Still Iike lands tho.
A good card for Odric is Basri Ket, especially when you go the keywords with tokens route.
I wish I had hadana's climb

Well, I run it in my volrath 1/1 counter deck. Its sooo sweet.
