Adaptive Cruise is not hands free. Though it is standard on every model now. Blue cruise is hands free. You Have to get ST line or above for that. The system is not sync4. It is ford’s new android based system dubbed the ford digital experience.

Technically the Active comes with Lane Centering which is Fords Semi Auto Driving system, which you can take your hands off of for around 5-10 seconds (it wants to feel haptic feedback) but does keep you in the middle of the lane, steer around corners and slow down for them.
For the Sync 4, Ford has been playing with a few different labels on its training tools and websites, at times mentions Sync 4 while others using the Digital Experience moniker.

@ every video from ford directly, calls it the new ford digital experience. It is completely different software from sync.
@ I am aware of how it works. It is not hands free like blue cruise.
@@bztrain good to know, a lot of people don't realize you can take you hands off the wheel with the lane centering too.
