- Today I'm back in Amsterdam, and I always say I don't like haze. But how can I really say I don't like haze if I haven't tried any in the last 5 years? So today I thought I should go in to Amsterdam and buy haze until I find one I like.

bruh me watching this video.. the day he uploaded it I run out of weed the night before and did not wanna wait till 10 for the shops to open here in Rotterdam so I went to Boerenjongens because it is THE best shop of Amsterdam at 7 in the morning no one there some AMAZING HAZE worth the trip in the morning!

Says he hates haze but loved the Dr grinspoon in another video as he decided it wasn't a haze lol..if I were asked for an example of what a haze is that would be the perfect one. Long flower time(18 weeks) tall and skinny, big internode spacing, loose/airy buds, narrow leaves and a taste and aroma which is very different to that typical 'weed' flavour. Grinspoon is 100% a haze in every sense. I think you believe that the 'haze' taste you don't like should always be present but that's not the case. New York City diesel is a haze, I would argue silver bubble isn't a haze at all personally. You need a haze connoisseur to show you that there's some haze you will love. The kali mist I used to get in the greenhouse circa 2000 was one such example. It was all individual calyxes like the grinspoon, looked like instant coffee not weed bug to this day its my favourite ever smoke. I've got a joint favourite now which is mean beanz 'predator' but you definitely could find a haze to fall in love with I'm certain

Never did like Liberty Haze, and was surprised when it won the Cannabis Cup for Best Sativa around the early 2000's. But I definitely agree that Barney's has always been a class act.
Coming from a grower I think the reason a lot of people don’t like haze is because in my experience when growing it you have to nail the grow. If you don’t dial things in and harvest at the correct time it’s not very good. It seems like it’s either great or terrible no in between for me with it.

Na that's not the problem. Even the best grown, best cured most terpy haze is horrible. I hate the highs, I hate the flavour. I just do not like any hazes. Disgusting strain. Nothing to do with I not being grown well

20 years ago the small Greenhouse in the red light district was my go to first place for their super silver Haze. Amnesia was great also not the ammo of today.
You passed up the super lemon haze. I smoke for anxiety and don't care for hazes, but I was going to recommend super lemon haze. It isn't like lemon haze. Calm focused energy with no comedown effects. Great for waking up!

Why you get strains for a haze vid that hardly have any haze in them. There all generations away from the haze parent, wth probably less than 20% of it in there..in all those strains. The fire hazes are on lockdown and only sold in bits and pieces to a couple of shops in Holland. Not easy to find, especially were your looking.

Love your channel, Drew and would definitely like to see a part 2. Regarding the Haze/Sativa issue, I believe the more of these strains you try, the more you will appreciate them. Two strains worth trying are NL5/Haze from Sensi Seeds, and Kali Mist from Serious Seeds. Both of these strains are classics and highly euphoric - they have stood the test of time.
I think Nevilles Haze is the best haze by far I have ever had! I got a q in the UK and loved it.
Then did some research and it's named after the person who setup the first grow bank in Dam.
So when I went to Dam for the first time, the only place that had it was 420 cafe and they'd sold out the slaags!

@@upload2137 and the time dedicated to drying, trimming, curing and packaging it properly of course. That's why I chose Neville's Haze at the time out of the choice I had. I rarely buy haze but I'd never smelt a haze like it and it was a stunning looking bud.

I used to get sungrown lemon haze in like 2017-2020 in my area. I really love haze, i tried it many times even in Amsterdam but for some reason nothing gave me the same feeling and taste
Nothing will beat organic outgrown in terms of tastes its miles away, industrial weed taste and smell like industrial weed
I grew a bag seed of haze in my garden years ago, the sun in my country isn’t the best so it turned out really straggly and hardly any dense bud but it was so oily and nice always regret not re-veging it
Trouble with haze is the flower time, I think a lot of people (cash croppers for one) chop it way too early so you don’t get the full potential. I used to grow a sensi silver haze #9 and let it flower for about 14 weeks all my trichomes where cloudy/amber and it was amazing no anxiety or feeling nervous no wanting to bite my nails 😅 like most haze makes me do. A few puffs and my face would go all warm and fuzzy. Gutted I got caught and not grown in 10 years 😢
Tbh I don't think we usually get Haze anymore in Europe. You think all the big criminal groups growing weed choose plants with such long flowering times? Their goal is to produce and sell as much as possible in the shortest amount of time. My guess is that they all grow some random "sativa" strains and spray it with terpenes, hence why all the Haze in Europe smells exactly the same.

I'm not a big haze smoker either, I'll always pass it up for other flavours when possible but recently I was handcuffed into smoking Liberty Haze due to lack of availability of anything else quick. It was actually a really enjoyable smoke so I'd recommend that if you can find a decent cut 🤜

Harvest time, flushing, drying, curing all can influence the taste you got from Haze. So, one Haze may differ totally from another. In that case saying I hate Haze sounds like prejudice.
A good strawberry haze is unmatched or a silver bubble. Absolutely tremendous.

It makes me sad you don’t like haze. One of my favorite ever strains was this one particular batch of lemon haze my plug had like 4 years ago. I’ve never had a lemon haze as good as that one since, but it made me COOKED every time. The type of cooked where you’re just looking at the joint halfway through thinking “damn, I gotta smoke the rest of this still”

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels this way about hazes lol. Usually the taste is chalky and lacking and I've noticed the high is usually really light, I can never get to where I want to be with them
I was at barneys last year and got both the candyland haze and liberty, what u said in the video is absolutely spot on, the liberty was like one of the most expensive strains on the menu and the staff pushes really hard for u to get it but it's just fkin dead. The candyland was a solid 8/10 tbh

Don't know about now but they're MENU you used to be top to bottom with cannabis Cup winners .I used to come straight out of the train station and turn right and walk straight towards Barney's as soon as I landed in Amsterdam lol loved 😍 that place LOL
Damn dude you don’t know what good haze is. Ive grown the best hazes (over 10 years)… biggest problem with dispensary haze is they harvest wayyy too early and do not cater to individual strains when they grow multiple. Haze can take up to 12 weeks where most dispensaries harvest at 8-9 with other strains.
Used to love haze, now for some reason it makes me way to restless. I’m In the search for a new strain that’s good for anxiety.
Pineapple express is pretty good
Sunset Sherbet, skittlez, ice cream cake, those are some nice mellow strains, but if you have anxiety from smoking its probably a sign to kick the habit.

There is one lemon haze that I really loved. It’s in Centraal i think, the coffeeshop has an Asian (Chinese?) style. Really nice lemon taste and the high was intense. For everyone planing a Amsterdam trip.

I doubled checked, the strains I always mix up are “Super Mazing” and “Amazing haze” both haze obviously. Honestly it just depends on the batch which is better

I hate haze as well. Didn't know this was a thing, but every single time I've bought any of it, be it purple, lemon, amnesia silver, whitewidow haze... They always just burned my throat like crazy and didn't make me feel nearly as good as when having any other type of sativa. Now I know there's such a thing as not liking haze and I'll stop buying them altogether xD

Sorry I’m late to the party. Haze, here in the states, is simply a mother strain for sativa lovers. Hard to find a sativa that hasn’t been tempered with a good indica, at least in Michigan.
I’ve been toking since ‘74 and I fully understand why the shops are upgrading with the younger generation who are hip to all the latest trends.
Over the 420 holiday I picked up (at a deep discount) a 3.5g of Super Lemon Haze live resin wax concentrate. It tested out at 75%thc but still no couch lock.
Nice nasal burn on the exhale and big Lemon skunk presence.

In this day and age I think it’s crazy that we can’t have 10 plants in the UK-paying a license fee to the government to cover the cost of having the electrics certified to keep everything safe shouldn’t be an impossibility.

My friends laugh at me fit loving hate..😂Even when i lived in Barcelona and i had a big choice in the coffeeshops i still preferred Haze strains. Especially silver or amnesia haze because they are always strong and have a very sweet and fruity kind of smell and taste. But i have to say meanwhile i understand the hype of strains like cookies or runtz😮💨😮💨😮💨
The thing about Haze is most haze strains are trying to recreate that typical landrace sativa flavour and high (which flowers at 20 weeks and above) but in a faster to flower version...normally by hybridizing it with faster to flower indica or ruderelis varieties. So the aim is to create that typical haze flavour and affect but shorter grow time. So the outcome should be very typically haze if done succesfully. So you either like haze or you dont. Haze also can be very paranoia inducing so maybe your preference includes a less anxiety and paranoia inducing affect.
It's nearly impossible to find Haze which has a typical landrace high in the Netherlands. I hate most of the Haze and love the typical landrace stuff.

My favorite Haze is from Greenhouse - Super Sweet Lemon Haze. It's the shop with the kois in the ground. But it's long time ago, my last experience for that. Was my first stop coming from the station, every time. :D

Also Amnesia and Silver are both strong Sativas while the silver should be the stronger sativa. Every silver I had was like 10x better than every amnesia I had.

Honestly Super Lemon Haze is my favorite and I keep a cut of it from a pheno I like for every grow. Comes out amazing for me. Smells like lemon cookies. Would have been a good one to try although I have no idea what the one in Amsterdam at Greenhouse is like since I popped a 5 pack to find the pheno I have currently and it was my favorite one. None were bad but it was a level above the rest. Not the strongest thing I have. Not even close. But still a favorite from when I was younger. It has a high unlike most other sativa strains that I just like.

You need to try the different fruits of haze strawberry haze mango haze pineapple haze your bit limited with lemon haze but liked the vid 👍edit i havent snmoked haze for bout a year so dunno what there like now
