      You're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, i feel the same way because he sounds like he was doing such a big favor to his parent's, and then he said that his parents are poor that's what he said in other's word's. I have been watching him for long time but i see that he's getting a bit arrogant, be humble God will always help you and people will love you even more.

    Chris, buddy the best video of all time! I'm not a preacher, far from it but I wanna say this. Not directed to you but to anyone who reads this comment just me rambling a bit. The only thing in life that I ever remembering I wanted to do was to work on the railroad. So straight out of highschool off I go. Applied and got hired, college was not for me! My mother died when I was 13. I had to go live with my dad, parents divorced when I was two. Dad was a pure turd, he was a drunk and would beat the shit out of you for no reason. Two weeks before graduating from highschool I moved out lived with my grandmother, graduated and went to work with Norfolk southern. After being married for 35 years dad and his wife divorced, he let some hag drain him dry and I do mean dry. Dad went into the hospital October 21 2018 and died Thanksgiving night. I took vacation to spend with him while in the hospital, and was there with him when he died. I was all he had, in the end he knew that. I was left to pay for everything but that's ok. I'm not bitter, someone told me this saying along time ago and it has stuck with me all this time. "You can choose your friends but you can't choose your parents". For those out there who still have them don't forget about them, go see them and always be there!

      Jason King, that is a very important message you gave there. Maybe we don't always see eye to eye with our parents, but they still need to be respected, after all without them where would we be. I spent 1 1/2 years with my Dad after I retired taking care of him and I don't regret one minute of it, he was able to stay in his home and not a nursing home. Always be there for your family, how I wish I could sit down and talk with both of my parents again.

      I'm 40 years old. My dad is 73 years old. He was born the summer of 1945. My mother is 68. She still works. My dad was disabled in 1993 from bad health. I am surly blessed to still have them. God has blessed them and me all this years to have an awesome relationship with each other. I wish more folks had parents as great as mine. Chris just keep on doing what ya doing. Glad to see that I'm not the only one that struggles hooking up to the 3 pt hitch. I keep a length of 2x4 handy to help pry things around that's easier than manhandling them. And I never could get my box scraper working right either. So I grade with the back blade and drag the loader set on float.

  • @theshadow1559
    @theshadow1559 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I found out a long time ago that a box-blade was not my cup of tea as a tool for leveling our driveway and dirt/gravel road, while others swear by that implement, I personally hate it. For me, a box blade implement is good for extra balance weight on the rear of the tractor and nothing more. I suppose that I was just never able to get the thing to do what I wanted it to do and that is probably my fault and not the box blades. For me, I first use a rototiller or a disk plow to loosen and turn the road's surface, then I use a landscape rake or a landscape blade to relevel the road-bed. However, I have decided that this coming spring I am going to purchase a hydraulic landscraper/leveler to replace the implements which I have been using up to now. I have recently watched at least a dozen different videos and spoken with 3 different manufacturers of that implement and I now believe that a hydraulic Land-Leveler is the best and easiest way to level any dirt or gravel roadbed.

    hey Chris, I've run a 3-pt box scraper for many, many 100's of hours doing finish grading and gravel spreading and I'll tell you - it's so much easier and does such a phenominal job when you have a hydraulic center link! You can quickly and easily adjust the angle of the scraper from cutting to floating/spreading - both forward and back - and I also had a hydraulic control for lowering the ripper teeth too! Makes quick and amazing work not only on driveway prep and gravel spreading - but awesome for sod prep too and finish lawn grading for cutting swales for drainage and yeah. Just an amazing tool when properly configured! You would be amazed! (probably change your thinking on the skidder being the best way, once you got onto it!) Regardless, very nice to do that for your folks! You make them pay for the gravel? lol

    The land plane scraper grader does a great job on the driveway. I use my box blade for ballast on loader work but I can use it on the driveway to smooth. Push the top link out a bunch and it helps if you can do it from a remote in the tractor and use the rear blades to smooth it. I much rather use my land plane though. I am thinking of a skid steer though. Harley Rakes do a great job too.

One of the pieces of equipment that I operate is a large front end loader (John Deere 910 I believe). Prior to working there I would watch these videos and be like, man that is so easy. Well let me tell you, that is much harder than it looks. I got a much better appreciation for the skill and time invested that you and other operators have put in. Something as simple as spreading rock takes a lot more skill than what most people think. Excellent job and I'm sure your parents are happy.

    Good video! I thought that was a Kubota from previous videos. Looks like the Kioti is getting it done. I have to agree my skid loader beats my loader tractor in every way.

    Good video 👍. I admire your skills. With all the customers you have if you hunt you should have a lot of good areas to go👍

    Nice Tractor. I have a Kioti DK40SE 2013 model, put 750 hours on it so far! It's been very reliable! Nobody calls it a toy any more.
