Tiny tree tops is so pretty, actually all your samplers are going to beautiful. Andrew's name framed is perfect. His momma will love it now and he will appreciate more once it is hung and he sees it everyday. Love you videos Elizabeth, thank you so much for sharing all you do.
Fun video! Consider the Lilies looks absolutely wonderful and beautiful! I love how Andy’s gift turned out, you stitched and framed it so well. Have a great week, and thanks for sharing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video Liz! The hourly updates were great - so fun to see the progress. The quilt and your shawl are going to be beautiful too . Like you, I do all the things so love seeing your progress on everything!!!!! ❤️ Joanne
Loved the projects update and the hair update, LOL. Your Oh Joyeux is so pretty, can’t wait for the finish!! I agree I like the way they framed it too. Thanks for the video! Have a great week!! Love the quilt too!
Andrew's finish is so adorable. He will love it. One of my favorites is Consider the Lillies. I want to start that one this year. It is SO big. Love all your projects. Happy stitching!
Hi Liz I just loved your quilt blocks. For so long I have wanted to do a quilt with mixed blocks and when I saw the mix of prints and colours in your blocks you inspired me to do mine thank you 😃💜
Happy birthday Andy...his PS Animal Alphabet hunter green frame is perfect for him...the FFO Let’s Stay at Home looks great on the paddle board...love to knit too...your colors for the shawl are awesome...the whips are beautiful...the quilt blocks looks so nice...best wishes and happy stitching Liz❤️
Beautiful finish on Andy's name. Love all your wips. I'm a big quilter and longarm quilting so I really enjoy your quilting section. Your quilt is going to be amazing. Happy stitching.
Love, love love Andy's project! So cute and the frame was perfect for it. Your WIP's are so pretty and makes me want to start them all! Let's Stay Home is adorable. So cheery! OMGee - Consider the lilies is gorgeous! Diego was cracking me up.!! So sweet. Have a fun week! Keep laughing! xo
I love the frame on Andy’s piece it’s perfect!!!!!!! Your quilt is going to be so nice I love your shawl I’ve wanted to do one forever!!!! Maybe I’ll dig it out ... maybe not!!!!!!!!!!! All your stitching is great and I found Evelyn across the pond the other she is great!! Have a fun stitchy week!
Love that top. Love seeing your hourly progress. I have had my eye on that Stichrovia Christmas night scene and I also got Prairie Schooler vibes from it.
Thank you for mentioning my board ! I’m marathon watching all your videos today! I love all your stitching! Just beautiful! New to your channel! Can’t wait to see what else you finish! April of Homestead Needleworkes
Diego is so cute! I love that you are showing what you are quilting me and my mom have just started well we have bought fabric and books and looked on lots of tutorials on youtube but soon we will start making quilts. I have the same Stitchrovia chart and really need to start it. Beautiful frame for Andrews present and I think when he gets older he is going to love it.
I think Diego wanted 24 hours of attention instead of 24 hours of cross stitch! It was neat to see what you got done in a day, and love your finished piece for Andy - the frame is perfect!
Hello! I have found your channel due to Sam Brie and am so happy. I've binged all your videos this past week. Love your videos, tutorials, stitching is beautiful. Diego is adorable. Have a great week!
Beautiful projects and stitching and very nice talk as usual... but my favourite part was seeing Diego 😄 I love how your Tiny Tree Tops is coming along, I may need to start it soon...
Diego’s a STAR! 🐈⬛ He never rolls around and wants me to pet him so I had to capture the moment! Rob has had him since he was a kitten so he never wants me!
You are such good company especially with the laughter. I have wanted to knit that shawl ever since I first saw it a few years back. It’s got as far as being added to my Ravelry queue. Just watched Nicole and saw her Consider the Lillies. Yours is going well too
I have used those scrapbook containers for my in progress quilts for years and love them. A 12” block lays perfectly flat. When Michael’s has their “lowest prices of the year” sale the containers are like 70% off. It’s a good time to pick up a few more. Can’t wait to see any of your samplers finished.
After seeing your Oh Joyous Day, I must find mine and begin stitching on it. It was interesting to see your hourly progress on Tiny Tree Tops. Another great video!
Your animal alphabet is too cute. Beautifully done and the frame is perfect! Love the quilt blocks. I’m doing BH3. Love your “O Joyous Day”, think I’m going to have to order that pronto!
You did a beautiful job choosing the frame for your nephew! It’s a perfect frame! Omg, so some old man commented on your video?! Ugh! This world is an interesting place, isn’t it?! 🤣🤣🤣 You can talk about knitting. I don’t knit but I appreciate it. Your hair would be super cute in a short inverted bob. You could even go darker with lighter highlights in your eye color. Consider the Lilies is gorgeous!!!
Another great video! It was fun seeing your hourly progress. Loved the frame for Andrew’s piece. It will look wonderful on his wall, I’m sure. Look forward to seeing the quilt blocks come together.
I love the idea of storing your finished blocks in the 12x12 paper clear boxes! Why didn't I think of that? I love to stitch with Kreinik #4 braid instead of just the metallic thread. Just an idea for you!
Rosacea girl over here in Arizona! Love your kitty!!! I'm working on a Stitchrovia, too - it's for my son. I'm not here to be just average, I'm here to be awesome.
I have bought the paper keepers from Michaels for years now. There is a cart you can get that actually holds them. Try DMC's Diamante or Treasurebraid instead of Kreneik.
I love Andy’s name piece, the frame is perfect! I’ll have to go check out Evelyn. I’m always looking for new talented peeps to watch. Have a wonderful week. ❤️
Hi Liz, I just love your wips, especially my favourites are Oh Joyous Day and Tiny Treetops. I have the Sewing Club book and have only stitched one piece from it so far, but plan to stitch so many more, such beautiful patterns. I love your finish you did for your little nephew, and the frame is perfect. Thanks for another great video and look forward to your next update. Stay well!
Thanks Lorraine! The Sewing Club book is so spectacular! I think I’ll give myself another start out of that book as soon as I’m done with Tiny Treetops!
I totally feel you regarding the length of hair. Mine is about your length and it's driving me CRAZY. Trying to brush it, it keeps getting caught in my stitching, ugh!
Liz, I watched Evelyn after you recommended her floss tube and of course subscribed. She’s adorable and I love her enthusiasm. I agree that the hair situation is difficult but I miss pedicures the most. Someday.....
Omg! You have my unicorn chart Sally Spencer. When you are done with it I will buy from you if you don’t want to keep it! 😁 thanks for your happy channel. 😂
I need more of Diego lol he looks like my 3 year old black cat that passed in November, my cat was a talker like Diego! Also, it’s so sweet how much he trusts you, he obviously loves you a lot! You’ve always enabled me but now that I’m getting into knitting and quilting you’re killing me 😂
Diego never rolls around like that for me! I had to capture it on video. He lets Rob hold him like a baby, thats my ultimate goal, but I loved that he wanted me to love on him on Saturday in the craft room!
They have cases similar to that at Michael's that often go on sale for $5....for when you want one or two and not six. ;) Not sure if they're exactly the same size.
hehehe yeah I probably only need 4 right now, but who knows! Mine ended up 6 bucks a piece on amazon so not too bad! And yeah these are for scrapbook paper but total size is 14x14 so the blocks with seam allowance fit really well!
Instead of Kreinik, have you tried Petite Treasure Braid? It was recommended by the lady at Pumpkin Hollow Quilts (You Tube). I haven't tried it yet, but she said it was so much easier to work with than Kreinik. Petite Treasure Braid comes in many colors. I found it at 123 Stitch.
Hi Elizabeth, I was wondering if you could show us how you use weeks dye works floss, as in when using 2 threads do you do the loop start or combine 2 threads, which way shows the variegated colours of the threads the most?. How do you cut the threads to use when you first start using WDW? Do you cut the bottom loops the way it comes? Do you take it off the card and rearrange it to make threads the length you like etc. I hope this makes sense..... thanks!
Sure I can show that in my next video! But in the meantime I can tell you that I do not use the loop method with variegated colors because I prefer the most variegation in my pieces so I will pull two strands to stitch with if I'm stitching with two. And I use it just the way it comes by cutting through the bottom loop and pulling off 1 or 2 strands at a time!
I have ordered from several different places. I linked the latest in my description box, craigframes.com I'm really happy with the quality and they shipped super fast!
OMG Consider the Lilies is HUUUUUGE! When you held it up I thought oh she must be using a low count...nope it was 40! What do you think you'll do with it when you're done? (I know you have a while to think about that, haha)
I know, there was no way I was going to stitch it on a smaller count! Its gigantic! It will definitely be framed when it's done and I think it will end up in this little alcove by my dining room and bedroom where I dont currently have anything on the wall!
Thank you! I like that its a bit of a tighter 36 count weave, and it is a really soft fabric but not floppy, I stitch in hand and I really like the way their linen feels.
I just want to know what the second animal is in that animal alphabet cross stitch. It looks like an aardvark to me or an ant eater. I love your videos and am trying to catch up on all your works. thanks :)
Omg that dang “N” 😂 it’s “nine ringed armadillo”, I think I talked about what a stretch it was whenever I started the project 😂😂 I guess there are no good N animals 🤷🏻♀️
I love your laugh. Watching you with your joyful attitude brings joy to my day. Thank you for being you.
Thank you! Happy Stitching!
Tiny tree tops is so pretty, actually all your samplers are going to beautiful. Andrew's name framed is perfect. His momma will love it now and he will appreciate more once it is hung and he sees it everyday. Love you videos Elizabeth, thank you so much for sharing all you do.

I looove black kitties! 😻
You are such good company especially with the laughter. I have wanted to knit that shawl ever since I first saw it a few years back. It’s got as far as being added to my Ravelry queue. Just watched Nicole and saw her Consider the Lillies. Yours is going well too
Oh thank you so much! Its a super easy shawl pattern, I just need to find time to work on it!!
I have used those scrapbook containers for my in progress quilts for years and love them. A 12” block lays perfectly flat. oh I am constantly accidentally weaving my own hair or cat hair into my cross stitch... lol

You know the dude telling you not to laugh is the same dude telling you to smile on the street. That Venn diagram is a circle. Great stitching!
oh FOR SURE! 😂
Hey Liz ! I’m doing #Samplerary too. I’m focusing on some HATs samplers
Cool!! I need to do one of those sometime!
They have cases similar to that at Michael's that often go on sale for $5....for when you want one or two and not six. ;) Not sure if they're exactly the same size.

Oh yes I’ve heard that recommended before, I need to try that next time I want to use sparkle!
Loved how your framed pieces turned out. I am also working on a Stitching through the years pattern for #samplerery. Happy stitching

@@elizabethanncanstitch oh that's great, thank you!!! And thanks for the reply :)
Try swapping out the kreinik with treasure braid, it’s so much easier to stitch with
I love Andrew’s name framed - plus I have a Shadow that looks a lot like Diego
Thank you! Diego is Rob’s cat so he hardly ever rolls around for me to pet him, I had to document it!
❤️❤️❤️
hi hi! ❤️
🤗
I love the name Andy’s cross stitch! Where do you typically get your custom frames from? There are so many options and I get overwhelmed lol

Consider the Lilies looks great and Diego is such a sweetie. What is it about PTP fabric that you like? I've heard people say it's tight.
Thank you! I like that its a bit of a tighter 36 count weave, and it is a really soft fabric but not floppy, I stitch in hand and I really like the way their linen feels.
🐴🐴🐴
Can you show us where you display your finished pieces???
Sure! I’ll make a note to myself to include a little tour of my cross stitch wall in my dining room!
Love Evelyn ❤❤❤❤❤❤, shes prob fan girling right now ...hahaha
Eve looks like a hula dancer.😄
hehe she does!
In these times especially, we need to laugh.
I just want to know what the second animal is in that animal alphabet cross stitch. It looks like an aardvark to me or an ant eater. I love your videos and am trying to catch up on all your works. thanks :)
