- Guillain-Barre (Ghee-yan Bah-ray) Syndrome is an inflammatory disorder of the peripheral nerves outside the brain and spinal cord.
It’s also called:
1)Acute Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy
2)Landry’s Ascending Paralysis
GBS is characterized by the rapid onset of numbness, weakness, and often paralysis of the legs, arms, breathing muscles, and face. Paralysis is ascending, meaning that it travels up the limbs from fingers and toes towards the torso. Loss of reflexes, such as the knee jerk, is usually found.

I got gbs from last 20 day ago
I have gon to hospital after i realised my muscle is getting weak and cannot stand and walking properly
In hospital i have taken 18 bottle ivig medicine and after the complete of ivig medicine hospital discharged me . I have been in hospital for 8 days and its been a week still cannot stand and walk. i got gbs on legs and hands finger only other then i am totally fine . The main problem i cannot stand and walk but i can move my legs my legs muscle become so much weak what should i do now please help me😢
