They look delicious! The uneven discoloration makes them look so real, like they've been baked or fried!
I really like the way they turned out. You can tell you used to be a baker, the way you dipped them in the "fondant". They look quite realistic and yummy. I am not a fan of pound cake, but I love lemon poppy seed pound cake. Go figure. Maybe it's just because I love lemon and poppy seeds?

I was already admiring your skills on icing the donuts that I thought surely you have been a baker! Then my oldest son walked in and thought I was learning how to make keto donuts. Sorry buddy, it’s soap! Lovely job! I have a yellow that temporarily turns orange and yes it sure looks crazy at first!

definitely going to try my hand at making some doughnut soaps! have my molds all ready to go! I love chocolate glazed and strawberry glazed doughnuts so i'll probably give that a try. These look amazing & I bet they smell wonderful!

A little tip: Lightly score the hard bar before placing onto the fresh bar... It may help the top to attach better. (it has worked for pipping but not sure about the weight of a bar)... These are super cute

I see your wheels of imagination are turning! These are adorable, I could really eat one, right about now. You really went beyond the Lemon Poppy, by putting the drizzle and lemon peel on, each donut. I think the size is perfect.

😆 Thanks. I used to make donuts when I worked in the bakery every morning. Now I make soap ones which means they don’t have calories. So I get it.

No. They’ll stick if you apply them to the wet soap.

Either a small bakery gift box or shrink wrap them. Depends on how fancy I want them to be
Would it work if you decorated the top while waiting to make the second then put the decorated one in the mold on day 2? Does that make sense?
I get what your saying. But I don’t think it would save me any less steps or mess. 😆 Maybe if I used melt and pour and not the Cold process method for icing. 🤔
