The Illusive realm's version of dreamless, where you get a glowing aura on your character rather than trasforming is probably my favorite echo skill type i could think of, especially since using it triggers 'qte' where the other 2 characters go onfield to cast intro skills is a feature from pgr i would appreciate in wuwa, if only occassionally
As an f2p at UL 65 atm, who just logs in from time2time(like 4-5 times a week) to do dailies and use waveplates, i currently have 2 lvl 90's maxed skill, maxed echo(optimized to like 60+cr/240+cd), max weapon and 4 subdps at lvl 80 max echo(mid stats) mid skill lvls, weapon at 70or80. As someone who doesnt play it insanely hardcore and just build whenever i can, i do say its fine although i would appreciate those double drop events happening more often.
The low rewards for extremely difficult content;kuro is already familliar with, in pgr most of the time the rewards are just like a border, a collectible, badge etc. Which gives us bragging rights but dont put us at a resource advantage which i like.
my problem with tower of adversity is they put mobs whose sole purpose is to run away and spread out, just to make it eat up more time. and since there are only a few resonators who can clump them together, and need to do it immediately at the start of the fight, it just ends up wasting time before the actual boss spawns.
I feel like echoes having to transform is not the problem itself. The problem mostly comes from their activation conditions. Both the monkey and infernal rider kinda suffers from their animation but their conditions for the buffs aint that bad plus they deal a lot of damage, the only echo set and echoes that has a big problem right now is thundering void, it has a clunky conditions for its sonata buffs and 2 echoes where 1 barely does any damage and the other having a super slow 5 hit where you need to hit your last hit to even get the echo's buff.
Making like a weekly rotating boss rush / endgame mode would be amazing. Make like the last level really hard.
I haven't really played PGR. But aether gazer and snowbreak have a mode like that.
Leaderboards are not bad as long as you don't lock asterites behind it. Give people who top them or are in the top x percent tokens or some kind of badge
You satisfy whales who wanna speedrun
You satisfy combat junkies who want a challenge
You satisfy minmaxers who want to optimize times
You satisfy casuals who just want to get the pulls , pull for their favs and enjoy the events / stories like me.
Maybe like in pgr you get more of the tokens if you place higher, but you still get only 10 less placing in the lowest ranks, but you can get extra copies with the tokens

I've been playing almost everyday since day 1(currently UL66), mostly doing dailies for the most part, and honestly, the game does feels nice overall, personally. But of course there's still a hell lot of improvements that they can implement or furnish existing content/functions, considering how new the game is. For me personally, I used to have problems with echo materials and stuff, but nowadays, I have an abundance of exp materials that I rarely even use anymore 😂 I mainly only focus on getting the best echoes for my main dps, so I guess that's probably why. Then again, who cares how my account is doing lol. Ultimately, at least from my perspective, the materials are not that scarce unless you want to build multiple characters at once in a short period of time. But I feel like that's the goal of this game, is to make players play the game more. And they've been rather generous with the waveplates if I can say so myself, so you do have some leverage from that. Comparing it to genshin(since its their main competitor and I don't really play any other gacha game lol), the character development progression are pretty similar in term of time needed to build them(outside echoes), so I personally don't think it's that big of an issue. Although, I do buy the battle pass, so I guess I have some extras compared to f2p players, which I can understand struggles more in this aspect. But I usually only buy them at the final week of the pass, so for the most part, I just farm for what I need using natural waveplates lol.
Now, for my complains lmaoo. The overworld is beautiful and all, but like, it just feels empty. There's a lot of cool places, beautiful scenaries, some interesting npcs here and there, but still, it just feels like nothing is happening lol. There's no story around the places, there's no real reason for you to interact with npcs, the side quests feels like a chore more than anything, and there's really not much going on to make me want to explore the regions lol. The craftable weapons sucks, the team comps are very limited, the scuffed lock on system, and the insane loading time everytime you want to go somewhere or enter a mode lmao. I can go on and on talking about this, so my bad for the ramble to anyone who actually read this 🤣 Overall, the game feels nice when you're fighting and doing the main stories, but other than that, you really don't have much to do. Cause once you finish the fun stuff, you're just stuck to doing dailies for a while before having anything to do at all lol. All that said, I do believe in Kuro to keep pushing quality updates, so I'm genuinely interested in seeing the state of the game by the end of the year.
I want a tower where you can also fight other characters or teams comps(doesn't need to be pvp). Imagine fighting Ling Yang and receiving a slap for disliking him.
omg an arena where you can fight other Resonators would be so cool, maybe they could have enhanced movesets as well and be like minibosses x)
Coop-ing the red enemies are fun, but other than that, its just farming yeah, pretty meh.
what WuWa need most other than ussual updates and optimization is "interactions", especially overworld. various landmarks yet there nothing to do in there except being pretty are such wasteful potentials.
for example, the eggs thingy from aix side quest. once done there no reason to go there again. KURO can made us feed it with something to lvl up and its give us other things, like maybe echo exp overtime that capped weekly.
What gets me is the mine. Wdym you gave us a huge, interesting mine only for there to be barely any ores in it. There's barely any mining related-stuff for us to do there. Aside from echo farming, what's the use of that place? Aesthetic purposes? 🙄
This is bad design. They should at least add more ores, more puzzles, more interactive things in general. Mt firmament caves feel much more mine-like than tiger's maw
@@whatabother2001 most issue in game right now is thanks to the story rework. its take away time, workforces and ressources that can be used for more contents and optimizing the game for rework. that why I hope KURO overtime adds permanent thing in those landmarks but somehow I didnt remember anyone suggesting these stuff. KURO also for whatever reason making those explorations quest, like red leaf tree in Mt.firament one time only quest honestly are wasteful potentials.

I think for a scythe weapon type they would just tie it in with a sword since havoc rover already uses a scythe, i could be a wrong though. Pgr does have actual scythe users

Only thing that changed for me at UL 60+ is being able to easily do 30/30 in ToA and im always broke as fuck that's about it

Hopefully(coping) considering pgr's state at the moment, theres a point later down the years that you'll have so much materials to fully build any and all incoming characters to full and even the old ones that were left in the dust. Just give it some time i guess? Cause a drought did happen in pgr but now i have so much materials that i dont even have anywhere to use it on anymore.
UL 68 here, credits. We need credits, echo tubes and character level up materials. When you add weapon leveling, character ascension and their talents it's basically impossible.
I still don't have any characters at 90 cause it's not worth.
The only character talents I have at max is changli.
Xiangli Yao, jinshi and yinlin are still not fully leveled and I only have 1 support character at level 80/80.
Almost all of them are at level 60.
Correct me if I'm wrong (I don't do it) but even with max daily refreshes I don't think it would be possible to max all 5 stars let alone supports?
