This isn’t a bad idea to be honest as it’s nearly impossible to know for sure under nods but if it’s a dire situation I’m slapping the forward assist a few times and sending it after a mag swap.
So rather than close your dust cover and press the forward assist to get assurance a round was properly chambered, you're going to rip the magazine out, reinsert it, yank up and down, pull it out, and then feel for rounds? Bruh 😂😅
Removing the magazine, leaving only one round chambered in a potential fire fight is dumb. Insert mag, give it an affirmative slap to make sure it’s seated, drop the bolt, slap the forward assist if present, Pull trigger. If no bang, rerack. If no bang again, you didn’t properly clean and store your firearm and ur fucked.
When do you ever confirm a round entered the chamber when it isn’t dark. Am I crazy? The bolt goes forward. You assume that it chambered the next round. Whether you can see or not.
You can tell the difference in sound if your an expierienced shooter. And if its loud cause lets say gun fire is happening. You tap the forward assist if it had resistance more than usual you know theres something wrong
@@SantaClaus-kk8zrthis is not stupid at all. He’s just showing you another way to skin a cat. Did this countless times when I was in service. Sorry but you’ll almost never use this application. It makes sense but in a time where you’ll be reloading you’re within a threat and you don’t have the time to do all this. Practice what you’ll do in a real life scenario and if you do it how you practice you don’t need to worry about
@@stinkbug1 You ever try to aim down an optic with 14s or 15s let alone do it in a gun fight? If you’re shooting with head mounted night vision you’re using an IR laser, not this dumb fucking fad contraption.
@@jake9886 Dunno if you noticed but that contraption still has a laser on it. You'll also probably be shocked to learn that a significant portions of red dots on the market have night vision settings for a reason.
We have hit the era of kung fu gun tubers. I seen so much of this Bs lately.
This dude resembles Kung Fu Panda
It’s…..been a common technique for low light riflework for…decades?
That red dot set up is nasty
Can’t take them seriously with it.
Yo dog we heard you like risers, so we put a riser on your riser so you can rise while you rise
This is so much worse than just checking the chamber…
He is talking about in the dark. How are you gonna check your chamber in the dark?
Ole meal team 6 giving his hot takes on gun fighting
what im sayin
Buddy in a situation your adrenaline is pumping, you’re not going to know what side the round is on the magazine.
that why you need to train!

thats exactly what i was thinking
drill sergeant must have been really touchy-feely wait this guy probably didn't have one
It’s partially mounted on the rail the whole optic needs to be mounted on the receiver.
The the laser mounted like that?

When the guys belly reaches halfway across the screen dont take his advice on stuff like this
That’s smart
Or you can just tap your mag before inserting🤷
I understand what your video is telling ppl. Makes sense. I listened. This comment section is full of redditor naysayers.
I'm no redditard but I can attest this is some pretty dumb shit. Convoluted and a roundabout way of a simple task.

Or, considering the hyrda mount is meant for uhhh night vision, you can just look at what your doing 💀
Not taking advice from a dude with a riser
Your comment is so under appreciated my dude 😂
It’s a hydra mount. Supposed to be used with night vision.
