Hey man i have my injectors and valve covers done, you recommend doing this as well? Seems like an inexpensive mod and i always enjoy doing stuff to the X.

Is it beneficial to upgrade the fuel rail? If I’m still on a stock turbo? I’m upgrade my fuel pump and injectors before getting tuned

Recommended for sure, just make sure its a good brand like radium or ams, some others out there perform worse than the oem rail.

I am upgrading my stock evo x turbo can I go straight to a 6466? And run the same amount of psi without upgrading internals ?
Anthony Flores Yes with a safe tuner. I ran around the same psi as my stock turbo with the 6266 and 100% stock motor with no issues and now with the built head and a stock bottom end with a 6766 I run around 25-26psi. Stock bottom end you just want to keep the torque under 400wtq and with the stock head keep the rev’s under/around 7500 to prevent floating/bending a valve. Most important is a great tuner to meet these goals.

Can you run the fuel rail without a tune?
Because I have it but not tuned yet and I'm not to sure if I should put it on or not
Chris Huntington Yes 100% I spoke to AMS directly and they told me I was good to go, no tune needed or anything like that but just to make sure before and after the fuel pressure is the same. Mine was within 1 psi after the change

I’ve had that before during installs. Tighten it more should stop the leak

Chris M No retune needed. To confirm it’s not needed I spoke to AMS directly on the phone and he told me not needed just to adjust the fuel pressure on your regulator if needed. After the install it only adjusted 1psi so plug and play! 👍🏼
for the turbo i wanted to run a PTE 6266 what would be equivalent to that but boostlab set up?

Is that a stock intake? (sorry not familiar with these cars)
either way it looks like theres a nice flat spot on each runner for methanol injection, highly reccomend. Even if you dont use it for fueling or knock control, the charge cooling is awesome.
Saddendude No it’s not a stock intake but rather a whole new big turbo set up. I run e85 so don’t think I’ll be stacking meth injection to that. Not to say it’s never done and I understand the pros but not very popular with the Evos and the e85 helps a lot with the knock control
