I first heard this almost 30 years ago. GLAD did such an amazing job with it that I didn't think it could sound any fuller or heartfelt. I was wrong. Thank you.
This is a phenomenal song. I remember living in Northern Virginia in the late eighties selling nfib membership door to door. One day I ended up in Mechanicsburg I believe that's the town and knocked on a door. Lo and behold there was Ed Nall, his brother and the whole band taking a break from rehearsal in a studio in a warehouse building. They were at that time my favorite band and I told them about my nfib membership opportunity.Ed did his best trying to appreciate me but I was an interruption so they graciously thanked me and got back to work lol. I would have done the same thing with me. I have heard others try to reproduce this song, done in a studio but this was fantastic you guys thanks for doing this I'm so blessed
Hi there, my choir is preparing to sing this exact Glad arrangement this Christmas. Is there any possible way we could connect and you could help me with breaking down the audio files so I can help teach my choir? I want to create individual mp3's for each of the parts. Maybe you can help me out with that since making this video you have the parts separated already? Mike
This is very close to the arrangement by Bob Kauflin (the writer of the words and music) and John E. Coates found in the SATB music book for Glad's "The Acapella Project," Benson catalogue #B00728. In my book, this performance is right up there with the original performed by Glad in their, "The Acapella Project" album.
I have loved this song for 35 yrs. You guys NAILED it!!
I had no idea Mitch McConnell had such a cherubic voice.

I’m looking for music for this arrangement. What church or group is this?
