Healers and Moonkin want Eye of the Beast and Feral DPS want Blackhand's Breadth. I didn't necessarily know what I was going to be doing the most of once things settled down and took the Mark simply because it is so much better than the alternatives for tanking. Armor calculation doesn't work that way. Base armor is 100%. Dire Bear form is +360%, meaning you actually multiply the item's armor by 4,6 to make it 460% The 10% talent is multiplicative, meaning that you gain 10% from that 460% dire bear form armor, so that gives 4,6 * 1.1 = 5,06 (506%) So to get the real armor value of an item for a feral druid, you multiply by 5,06 (with talents) This makes Ghoul Skin Tunic actually give ~2080 armor and not 1521.

Yep. The Hakkar trinket is sooo good for tanks, and combined with the 180 armour trinket I don't even need another trinket. The necklace is good if you need hit, or FR, but the medaillon from MC is slightly better for mitigating damage I'd say.

Force of Will and Demon's blood are both trash, as is the Onyxia trinket. You can get more avoidance from Vigilance Charm (DM:W) or Mark of the Chosen (quest). But you're better off equipping a threat trinket anyway.
Have to correct the edgemaster part - even for orcs and humans, many of us require these gloves due to the difficulty of getting actual BiS during p1p2 - for example, weve not had a Viskag drop on for any of our raid teams yet, but we have had deathbringer, so i had to buy some edgelords gloves despite being human - youd be surprised how many orcs are using swords, and having to use these too. You also missed that 305+ gives you an effective 3% more hit, which is huge at this point in gearing :) Also, force of will drops from Emp, not Anger.

In vanilla our guild leader wouldn't let them tank cause the tier set from mc was healing stats so he wouldn't let them cause the wars were all epic and bears were half and half epic and blues. Too bad back then people's mind set was epic is better regardless. But now we know better and some blues can be better than epics
Smokling Heart of the Mountain cannot be trade! It's BOP! As a ddruid you have to get to that enchanting lvl and afterwards drop it for something else if you want to.
thanks, was looking for that truth
Just made mine the other day, back to alchemy!
In which phase Ghoul skin tunic will be available?
Naxxramas
Shadows shouldnt go only for +dmg. Int and mp5 also very important, u ran oom very soon. Equip as much +dmg u can without going oom during the fight.
I aim for 5.5-6k mana pool on my shadow priest with 500+ sp without Supreme flask. Use major mana pots and runes for longer fights. Stat prio: SP > Int > MP5 > Spirit
@@Mikey-is2nc OFC u use Pots+Runes. Nevertheless u will run oom in long fights. If u get Innervate perhaps not.
If u run oom with ur raidgrp, get int/mp5 as long as u dont run oom. only than sp > int >mp5. and in long fights mp5>int. Adjust gear according to fights, not to stupid people in the internet.
@@medivify If a fight lasts longer than a pot and rune consumable, I'd suggest finding a different raid team
If you are a tank and have gotten the head of ony, do NOT get the trinket. Get the necklace. It is bis for far longer.
Yep. The Hakkar trinket is sooo good for tanks, and combined with the 180 armour trinket I don't even need another trinket. The necklace is good if you need hit, or FR, but the medaillon from MC is slightly better for mitigating damage I'd say.
Why isn't rune of the guard captain not on this list. outside of the one for BRD there isn't very many hit trinkets in the game.
Because you wanna replace it asap. Theres plenty of hit gear elsewhere, so rune is pretty bad compared to the trinkets which compete it. (Blackhands breath/hoj)
Whats the best source for bis infos?
Classic.wowhead.com have nice topics about bis for each class
What server do you use to make these videos?
Warden Staff is the best mitigation weapon but once AQ comes out chances are that you'll replace it by the Blessed Qiraji Warhammer for threat generation, if you're MTing anyway.
Heh, obviously :) I only use unyielding maul when the boss hits really, really hard. Like broodlord lashlayer and his mortal strikes hard.
could the audio be any lower?
Funny our lion heart pattern dropped from neff
This is about min maxing, not the best for classes, a dungeon drop is not better than a Tier 2, this is about your parses in a log
force of will and demon's blood are neither bis for any tank fyi. Mark of the chosen is significantly better and then blackhands breadth beats out what can come from it. They're also worse than uther's.
You know what else is weird? Writing weird wrong in the thumbnail but correct in the title
Pretty sure berserker rage helm. Red one from bwl is better than lionheart for arms warriors. Not fury tho
Lionheart helm overrated + edgemaster combo, I ran into dwarf warrior that was using mining helmet +7 axes plus hit gloves from zulgurub and 1h axe that gave 1% crit. If he had gotten the expensive items it would have been only minimal bonus anymore.
Some people go that extra mile for the little higher stats. This list is called best in slot for a reason because, if you are max level, it is optimal to have them at some point.
lionheart recipe can drop from lockboxes, gracious made a video on it near launch
Lionheart helmet blueprint is a world drop, my guild got it from a lockbox.
Can you Turn the volume of the mic up on your videos can't ear nothing in the street when whaching on the phone but rly thx for uploading this kind of videos they are entertaining
You actually can get lion heart pattern off of trash in MC not just bosses. Seen it myself.
Mindtap Talisman is a 5-6% drop not 20% and Force of WIll is dropped from the Emperor not Angerforge
I don't wanna be that guy but, thick hide scales in bear form. 1 armor = 5 armor in dire bear with 5/5 thick hide.
Get unyeilding maul instead of warden staff, much eaiser/cheaper and basically the same stat wise.
it's also actually better atm as you can put Iron Counterweight on it for 3% haste.
Can't you put that on warden staff? I didn't know that. Yeah that makes a difference.
jesus christ 950 for edgmasters is a steal. Currently 6k on my server.
Wow who knew Lionheart Helm was bis :O
Force of Will drops from Emporer not Angerforge
Mindtap Talisman is not pre-bis for healing priests.
Trinket mp5 for priest isnt bis i think, spirit is way way more profitable, due to spirit talents and in-combat mana regeneration
That's why a healing power is better(second wind, dire maul trinket, and other)
it depends on fast your guild clears- some guilds do split 20man onyzxia and with only 4-5 healers mp5 would be bis
Gauntlets of Annihilation drop vom C'Thun, not in Naxx.
He said that the reason they aren't BiS until Naxx is that the wep skill from the Hungering Cold makes you able to switch to Gloves of Annihilation
Force of Will and Demon's blood are both trash, as is the Onyxia trinket. You can get more avoidance from Vigilance Charm (DM:W) or Mark of the Chosen (quest). But you're better off equipping a threat trinket anyway.
Your calculations will all be incorrect the 10% from talents only affects base armor for druid not armor values from items.
Calling those items bis all game for feral is a little bit wrong as many encounters varies and different items are better in different situations.
you spelled weird wrong in the title you wrote wierd
Omg that lasher pull, as a disc priest, gave me a heart attack
MCP?
Have to correct the edgemaster part - even for orcs and humans, many of us require these gloves due to the difficulty of getting actual BiS during p1p2 - for example, weve not had a Viskag drop on for any of our raid teams yet, but we have had deathbringer, so i had to buy some edgelords gloves despite being human - youd be surprised how many orcs are using swords, and having to use these too. You also missed that 305+ gives you an effective 3% more hit, which is huge at this point in gearing :) Also, force of will drops from Emp, not Anger.
As a shaman currently farming for double "Mindtap talisman" i was very upset your source said 20% drop. :((( been there so many times only have 1, and atlas loot latest update says around a 8% dropchance.
But im glad its on your list tho, i called that one and the feral druid headpiece that gives energy, which is best in slot for Cat druids untill kil'jaeden in TBC
Would love to know if you got your double mindtap. I am a boomkin that recently farmed up double mindtap as well. (blew all my quest rewards on feral tank gear)
@@Banana_Zach i havnt got it yet. I kinda gave up on it since we are blasting content currently so spell power from briarwood is fine because fights dont take that long. And i think im one of the first im my guild to get ony trinket if it drops anyway
Weird watching one of your older videos and seeing how much slower your paladin is farming DM!
14 for that thing what realm are you in omg in mine that same thing gos for 82 gold i want to go in yours
He's on a p server, see how those elites were going down.......
Mark of the Chosen is BiS for all of vanilla for tanks.
9:45 Your advice on trinket combos is bad.
Also no Manual Crowd Pummeler for ferals? mmmmk.
I miss defense as a stat.
just get an unyielding maul and leave the warden staff on the AH.
Yup, unless you are a lucky druid tank like me and had Warden Staff drop when killing random dark iron dwarves. Unyielding Maul is basically the same, minus a very tiny stat difference. Nothing wrong with calling Unyielding Maul the Walmart-brand Warden Staff.
The 3 pieces for the druide never being replaced isn't great... It's boring as fuck!
I never wore anything other than plate on my warrior (with the exception of SGC). My damage has been generally too high for most tanks to keep threat and I end up taking alot of hits anyways, so the extra armor is valuable to me.
Get new tanks
Tell you tanks to stop being shit
Weird correction comments inc
Momo Amir LOL
Weird*
And bis wolfshed obly after u can afford to use a helm without hit
No, it's always BiS. It adds an easy 40% dmg.
@@StCreed no... Wolfshed is not that good if you miss on all those extra attacks it doesn't do well hit still takes prio over wolfshed... But feral dps is lol anyways I'm a feral tank In Classic until then banned me without reason now never playing wow or any blizzard product again
What a creative idea for a video! xD
Death Grips gloves bis for pvp until you buy the ones from blacksmithing
Agreed, I have a pair and they are great for tanking strat live and brd
Yeah rogues/druids should suffer warriors/hunters rolling on their shit because of armor class /rolleyes
Most warrior tanks avoid stacking defense because they need to generate plenty of threat through crit, hit and damage. Mitigation is good but threat is great.
that pally needs to learn to use concentration aura
maybe he thought it's better to damage them
Imagine doing lasher without shield? Without reflective blocking ttk so slow and 1 group at a time? Brutal do three at a time on my paladin on the pulls I'm able to nade to.
@@cynergi7498 I prefer when people play in the way they feel more comfortable for them
@@Immagonko lol what?!? That is no good for anyone and noobs watch that might think it's right... take more damage and do ALOT less makes 0 sense, literally what not to do vid
