Looks fantastic. The H90’s perfect partner
Would have loved green blue or pink led screen :)
hink we know what is coming, so thats nice.
More important is that after watching I went straight to the website and bought your Amplified Nation OD R profiles. Very nice.
Great video guys… based on the IK video from the other day looks like modulation and delay is about to drop on the app and pedal. If that is the case then that will make the pedal almost perfect for me.
That is Amplitube + Tonex...
Pre-ordered mine this morning.. I’m stoked for the additional captures & fx
Hope you enjoy it!
did they charge your card once you placed your order or do they not charge it until the product ships?
Amazing pedal. Check out 19.A, 19.B, 19.C. Also 29.b. The 29.B is a Skylark amp. Add some gain and reverb. Total Bliss. Thanks Tonex and the tone partners.
I’m a QC guy but when I heard of the packs being included, it seemed like a great way to get back into the IK stuff. My very first pedalboard, was using Amplitube running on an iPhone into a Fender Bassman. Ahhh, good times :)
This should be called TONEX GLORIOUS
Hoping the delays added are as high fidelity as the plate reverb is
You guys fight every video and I love it. Or well Paul gets annoyed. LOL
Sounds great!!! This needs to be the standard product not a limited release!😊
Nice fellas! Thank you!
Cracking demo nice products ik multi media !! I use t rack 5 for all my mastering needs i might invest in this too, cheers guys from Shrewsbury phil 👍
James, we all look forward to a demo of your Eleven Rack!
Just ordered mine, this is exciting guys! :)
@@JHPRS cheers
@@TheStudioRats I don't think I'll ever need any other amps than the ones you guys put into the Tonex. :)
Very nice. I hope for a delay, some modulation. But if it's not I still will be a happy user. When dialed in properly this platform sounds huge. That took me awhile but now my calibrated interface in conjunction with the software or pedal works flawless. Your Matchless Independence sounds insane! Fingers crossed if my wishes come true.
Cheers, looks like your predictions are exactly as you wanted. Delay and modulation
How can we get the 150 premium captures if we already own a tonex???
You can buy them from the tone net store
What a fantastic video have a great day James also Paul also happy first week of October ❤😊🎸🍂🇬🇧🏴🇺🇸🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it
Have you guys ever looked at doing pre-amp only captures - the idea being that you could then run them into a dedicated power-amp or via the effects loop of a guitar amp for live performances?
@@brianh.8758 we have do the SOLDANO preamp that’s available on our site
I want one. BAAAAAAAD!
I hope we get that overdrive spot instead of compressor we thought we were going to get
Think I may pull trigger on larger Tonex unit. The white one. These days I'm thinnning the studio equipment out and keeping a few real amps and then going convience path with Tonex and the like. Have two Tonex One's and have been pretty happy. Funny thing is, about a year ago before the Tonex One came out, I got a Tonex pedal. It sounded horrible. So I sent it back after about an hour or so toying with it. I gambled on the Tonex One's when they came out and bought just one. After messing with it for a few hours I figured out what was happening. The software wasn't (and isn't) too slick on transitioning from Tonex pedal processing and software on Tonex app. So if you do not watch it, you will get double processing which sounds ass. This issue is in part the operators fault (yeah, me) and also not very good programming. Anyways, I'll have to make or hope 'someone' does all the gotchas and 'work arounds' for Tonex pedals and software. I think this is Tonex's weak spot. Otherwise they lead the pack in value for the buck on modelers, IMO.
The sun'll come out tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar, that tomorrow there'll be sun
Just thinking about tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs, and the sorrow 'til there's none
When I'm stuck with a day that's gray and lonely
I just stick out my chin, and grin, and say, oh
The sun'll come out tomorrow
Oh, you gotta hang on 'til tomorrow, come what may
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow
You're always a day away
I can only hope they are doing some kind of revamp to the godawful software interface. Me and about a million other people bought the tonex one when it came out. Next we plugged it in and tried to use it...that was an enormous headache that ended with the tonex one in a drawer somewhere, forgotten, abandoned.
I agree that the ui needs to be less confusing.
I ordered this White Limited Edition, I bought the regular on sale $299, but i did not open, went on website and had doubts because my Mac computer is old and i was afraid i could not update to latest version? Looks like leftovers in store most likely not updated with FX? I did not want to find out the hard way, so Guitar Center was cool and I paid the extra $163. Hopefully black friday gets a price drop and they will give it to me??..
This limited edition will look nice next to a tc plethora or white HX stomp! I've seen they will be adding a delay and modulation slot on the Tonex as well. Personally I'm looking forward to the Friedman IR-J.
Where did you see that, if I may ask?
@@VukMirasevic tonex (ik multimedia) released yesterday an update for the tonex software and there you can see the delay and modulation features. They will be anouncing/confirming this, if it really happens in the pedal, probably tomorrow.
@@DankradMP They released an update for Amplitube, not ToneX software...so I still don't know where you saw that, I just connected my Tonex Pedal to my macbook, where I have the latest Tonex Max software, and there is no either firmware update for the pedal, nor an update for the software...
@@DankradMPits an amplitube update, not tonex.
@@manarasit is for tonex. In the video while showing amplitube 5 the Tonex software is shown and there is delay and modulation.
Now I wanna see Tonex One LE
What do you get extra for the extra price that you do not all ready get with regular Tonex? Besides just being white??..
In the video
Just got the anniversary pedal and cannot wait to try your models. Where do you set the input trim for your captures?
So the 150 factory presets are different than the ones on the 'standard' black Tonex pedal? Where can we get them or see the list?
Hi can anyone tell me if this white anniversary model comes preloaded with the Modulation effects and Tuner? Also will it allow easy iPad compatibility right out of the box? Thanks
The Mega Barba sounds amazing, can I purchase that as standalone for my original ToneX?
Yes you can, via our web site or tonenet
what are you setting the input trim at for your captures?
It’s guitar dependent not capture
@@TheStudioRats what was it when you used your strat?
They did this with a silver version on the first anniversary.
If possible, would consider a video on how the ToneX can be used with a Boss Katana?
Plug it into the effects loop and just use the katana power section and speaker .
Can you run an IR capture out one output and non IR capture out the other like the Friedman IR-D and variants ...or maybe that's what is coming
So is the software update still possible to other units than the "anniversary model"?
Trying to find a good spare device for my main unit and this is one option, especially if this now contains also some delay, reverb and modulation effects.
It’s available for all tonex
i pre ordered it but I ws wondering can I transfer the included tone models into the tonex I own now or do I have to just use anniversay model to use the tones?
I’m afraid I don’t know. Might be worth sending in a message to IK
@@TheStudioRats thanks i reached out and i can add them to my other tonex pedals after i register it.
@MrCgar18 awesome!!
I bought one a couple weeks ago, the regular edition, not this one, and the stock presets are horrid. I haven’t returned it yet because I know that there are captures to download that sound good based upon many of the videos I’ve seen. I’ve been a little too disappointed to dive back into the pedal, but it’s probably time I give it a shot again.
Try boosting it or change input gain. That's the problem. I've had same problem. Tonex is horrible dealing with input levels. But once you get it right, it will sound very good. Even stock captures can sound good there with right input gain.
@@aleksandr8809 Cool, will do. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.
I strongly suggest to set Input trim at 8.5, also is better to set up with the pedal itself conected vía one of your interface ports. Avoid moving to drasticly the eq knows, is better to press alt and try with deep and presence like a general eq.
Oh my ...please be delay....the onboard plate verb is phenomenal info, I don't need the ltd one but I'm gonna get it anyway as a backup
BluGuitar - Amp X is going to blow this out the water when it comes out.
Guys just bought the Mega Barba pack based on the Megadrive 4 sound that's in this video, but had to add a lot of gain to get to it similar to the one on the vid, how you guys use your input trim on Tonex?
Cheers!
@@Mario666Heartless input gain is determined by the guitar not the patch
@@TheStudioRats if tou raise the input trim value you're raising the gain of the patch because input is being a lot more... I normally use my Gibson Flying V with SD SH6 pickup on the bridge, so it's a high gain pickup already...
So does this contain the original 150 presets of the original black Tonex plus another 150 tone models? and does this white anniversary edition also include Tonex Max and Amplitube 5 software like the black original version? sorry for the noob questions i'm trying to decide if this Anniversary version is worth the extra $50 and if it includes everything the black original version does PLUS the extra 150 tone models, thanks!
Hey man !! I've been looking at some of your les paul (the vintage ones ) videos you made and I wanted to ask you about what would be some of your inspiration for the clean riffs/licks you usually play? seem like classic 80s crystal clear cleans with beautiful chords, but would you mind sharing some of the songs or at least bands that inspire you ? And if its not too much, what inspire your overdrive playing. Basically I want to learn some of your chops for "what do i play when i want to see how a guitar sounds like "
@@cechichan cheers, I was really into Steve Lukather, Gary Moore, pink Floyd and as embarrassing as it is a lot of 80s rock.
@@TheStudioRats Appreciate it mate :D !! that's really helpful. 80s is my favorite music from GNR and SRV to the GTA vice city soundtrack haha. What other 80s rock bands/players you enjoy ?
Where are the "Beno" JTM and old Clapton sounds?
Nitro or Poly?
If it's nitro it I'll have extra sustain and age beautifully.
Are the foot switches like the original or like the Tonex One?
Like the original
it would have been good for IK to release a comprehensive video playthrough of all 150 of these premium captures for us owners who have already purchased the original pedal. I have had mine for 11 months now. quite frankly I was greatly underwhelmed with brunt of captures that came stock on my pedal...most were blah at best...and sounded NOTHING like some if the great captures in this video.
I might be tempted to sell it (at a loss of course) and fork over for this more expensive unit IF I could KNOW what all of these 150 captures actually sound like (rather than buying in faith like last time only to be rather dissapointed)
Does it do captures like the NanoCortex?
No, but its like 150$ cheaper
What plectrum do you use? I always like the swishh and attack u had
dunlop flow ultex 0.88 mm
and what about last update of Amplitube 5 ?
Where's the update
what is the james price please?
James is not for sale. 😂
Are the premium tone models objectively better than the non-premium (free) tone models?
I can’t be objective with that as we are tone partners. But in my opinion, yes.
Pre Order 536,- € inc Vat ... I'm not shure? 200,- more than the Standart Version, is it worth it?
I think so due to the captures.
@@TheStudioRats don't misunderstand, I meant the standard ToneX and for 200,- more you can also buy a lot of amps of your own choice (in any case I would prefer the studio rats amps over others ...) Sorry, English is not my native language.
It's already leaked out what the new update is. It's all over the place on youtube. Even IK did a video about it.... This is what we all asked for.
Please tell me its a pedal editor..
chorus and delay added
so whats going to happen tomorrow ?????
New FX added
One more paid upgrade is coming hehe.
Nah I'll be free 99% sure
Looks fantastic, but unfortunately just a bit out of my price range. Maybe one day
chorus and delay added! Nano cortex???no thanks...Tonex!!
I'd buy it just cause of the color. Black pedals are overdone!
Why white, oh why ...
What colour would you prefer?
11 min advertising.
Exactly!
Skipped right past it. No biggie
You clicked *it.* It didn’t click you, did it? If it did, run. Just *_run._*
For sure. Still entertaining.
for my taste "personally" your sound, Paul is always too distorted, which sounds always "too canny"...4 my taste....just as a Feedback...cheers...🙋🏻♂
I don't know why you're in this pack. You clearly don't know how to make Tonex profiles, like it was prooved on your Tonex vs Quad Cortex video.
Does someone need a cuddle?
@@TheStudioRats Man, in that video, just by setting the rig for the Quad Cortex and after for the Tonex, the same amp, with the same settings sounded hugely different. Not talking about the capture, but the reference tone.
And you were like "Oh, I wonder if they will sound the same". Of course they wont sound the same, because THE REFERENCE TONE IS DIFFERENT!
And you couldn't care less to find out what was doing that. Just moved on.
That's as flawed as it can get. You proved that you have 0 capacity of doing these captures. But it sells (and you have a "big" youtube channel) so I guess you got your spot on IKs Limited Edition.
