    "Travel of about...FUCK ALL" 😂

      😂
Could they fix the travel with a button combo? (Hold X and fiddle for finer grain.)
I guess with digital it's as simple as a firmware update, but this is probably limited by the hardwired analogue circuitry?

You could always one of your two attenuvertors to tame it 😏

@@JuanUys exactly, but then, not a deal breaker at all, it is modular... use an external attenuator/verter.....

Just got this thing and I'm clueless, would be amazing to hear how you use it as you explain things very well.

Great review, you really get it! Couple of fun suggestions....
    1. Using only one oscillator, use your regular normal-ed connection with the waveshaper, patch the sine output to another channel and mix to taste. Don't start out maxing the mixer channels, it actually leaves more headroom going into the filter for resonance. Now you've always got hella full bass on tap.
    2. Patch out from the filter, dynamics or echos out back into the pre-amp in and adjust gain and level to taste. You will get sweet and nasty distortion to fuzz and it can drive your filter into self oscillation. Have fun! Looking forward to your next vid, subbed!

I also struggled the dynamics section, I opened it up to see if I could adjust the timing offset, but it was already on the lowest. But maybe I nudged it a bit, because last time I felt like I hit gold. got my head around it, got beautiful woody Buchla plucks that opened into soaring leads. There's a guy on Modwiggler that's modded the ASDR to and the Dyn time, he's also talked about switching the log pots on the decay time. If I could find someone to capable of that level of PCB work, it would be so sweet. I'm also wondering about a Deopfer dual ASDR and whether the inbuilt power supply has the juice to run that, and just make a new case, keeping the wooden ends. But after last night, I'm loving how different this sounds to my other synths. Yeah, why would a I want a moog over this. no brainer,

The envelope & dynamics sections done my head in as well. Ended up selling mine after a few weeks. Sounded great on demos. Just never got my head around it unfortunately.

I have a Lifeforms sv1b and thinking of selling it to get this one. Not fully convinced though

After finally being able to afford one of these, mine just arrived today. Wished I'd done even further research as when I read on the box "made with love in China" (right). I didn't even want to open it. Yeah, I get that if anyone knows electronic assembly, it's China (for pennies on the dollar). But for what these sell for, this is my LAST Pittsburgh Modular product. I'm sure it's the same with Moog. Nothing they put out besides the Model D stuff on up actually says made in USA (doubtful), just that they're an "employee owned company", as if anyone cares. Same SMT crap with rearranged knobs that all sounds the same while gouging customers.

I got my since 1 Week i love this thing. I it is how you say the encoders extrem sensitiv but after a little practice it is absolut insane, HP/BP and into LPG this destroys me.
