Love seeing the food on cruises! Breakfast looks good, glad it’s not a hectic buffet. Nice to relax on the ship. Fizzy pop science, fun! Mmm lunch looks great. That antipasti plate is right up my alley. The lasagna looks great too! The pearl dining room looks nice too. Yum ceviche! “Ducks are friends not food” 😂 love that! Lobster and prawns look great and the tenderloin too. My stomach is growling watching haha. Those drinks are so cool, love the flamingo. Thanks for bringing us along 😊💕

We've just come off Iona on a northern Europe cruise. We went to 710 club and the waiter wouldn't come to our table to take our order either, when I gestured we'd like some drinks. I went to the bar and asked him to come and take our order and he explained that once the performance starts they aren't allowed to. They can go round the tables before the show, but once it starts they aren't allowed, he said it's so as not too detract from the performance. Children not allowed in either for the same reason. They can serve drinks, but you have to go to the bar to get them. I think the idea is for you to stock up before it starts as it's quite a short set. After he explained it it kind of made sense to me. Was believed at kids in the club house disco at midnight though! We really enjoyed 710 and went in 3 or 4 nights during our week.
Many thanks, it does seem as if this is a procedure in the 710 Club then it would be far better to explain that when entering rather than to let guests try and work it out for themselves.
The food on this cruise looks lovely. You are right - ducks are friends, not food for us usually as well. We haven't been on a cruise before... but I am the type of person who would enjoy having Celebration Night a couple times a week. Getting all dressed up for a fancy evening sounds lovely! Sounds like some staff at the 710 Club have unique ideas about what constitutes good customer service. Thanks for sharing Day 2 with us!

Wow! The Buffet Breakfast looks Very Good!!!👍 I'll always say it....one of the Best things about Cruising is the food!!! Italian food is my Favorite so I'll have a double lasagna plz...lololol And complimentary drinks are always welcomed!!!😊 It's a shame they reduced the celebration nights. We usually enjoy the shows but haven't got to see many on our cruises. These were pretty good even at our age!😂 So wait...what??? The server made a slashing motion??? Hopefully he either thought you were someone else, or simply he was having a bad night. Either way, it's unacceptable!!! Crazy!!! Totally enjoyed aa usual, my Friend!!! Hope the rest of your cruise was better than that evenings end. 😁🤙👊

Looked like a perfect breakfast to start the day! What beautiful weather! That is strange they’ve chosen to add the up charge to chips. Great that you can mix and match with marcos suggestion and the main menu! I like the idea of the celebration nights we know royal Caribbean isn’t very formal even on formal night but we intend to get fancy haha love the flamingo!!!! What a highlight haha What the heck with the server that’s so bizarre! Did you complain or find out what happened there? 💙✨
I just discovered this cruise ship. It looks extremely beautiful. I am curious why it looks so empty compared to the super jam packed MSC cruise ship. Was this video taken during Covid when ships were operating at half capacity?
This video was taken 8 weeks ago and on a sea day when over 5,000 passengers were onboard. MSC Virtuosa which I was on with a similar amount of people seems much busier because of the layout and lack of venues to hold people. I think they have too many cabins in relation to the rest of the ship. Many thanks for watching, Iona is such a beautiful ship.
Great video as always but the service in the 710 venue was totally unacceptable I hope you complained? Honestly I still need to be convincing in the joys of cruising.
We didn’t as we were too upset to and then didn’t want to make a fuss the following day. Hopefully the amazing scenery in the upcoming videos of this cruise may help to change your mind.
