I’ve been riding the new eclipse deck plate for the past couple weeks and I love it perfect 10/10 and locks into grinds like a magnet, the one thing I will say is not having a cut out for tightening your brake nuts is kinda of a bumper but, I solved it by just JB welding the nuts to the bottom of my brake so they self tighten while I use the Allen key. Other then that I’m loving this new deck plate.
@@fullcore2239 I was previously riding a 5.3 x 22 district deck then I got the same neck you have off a friend for $20 and figured let’s give the eclipse a try and after switching to the eclipse I can still do all my tricks that I could do on my previous deck absolutely loving this new deck plate and the weight feels just fine I got use to it almost immediately.
Had mine for a few days now, also running the old headtube. It's a little sticky at first but it now slides great! Hopefully they will come out with a 24 version I can get once my 23 breaks...
@@fullcore2239 I back proto 100% with everything Just not the decks because where's the fender?Where's the spacers to be compatible? Where's the selection of deck widths and sizes ?
@@breezybert if it took time to manufacture a good product then where's the wheel compatibility? Where's the range of deck sizes ? Where's the fender? Where's the selection of colors ? And where's the selection of widths and lengths?
I personally like the riding clips, even if its for a couple of seconds
We love proto, when they listen to the opinion of the people/riders..
I think they will get the (hopefully soon) but I think it’s just expensive
Just ordered my eclipse, so stoked.
It’s pretty heavy for it’s size so as long as you don’t mind the weight I think you’ll like it 😊

Yes the more I ride it the more I enjoy it as well I thought it was gonna be too heavy but I have definitely gotten used to it

Yes I think people need to give the deck a chance and try it out no it’s not 6” wide but it still rides so good

Ugh i wish proto had more options for deck sizes and head tube angles smhh they lackin
Lol nah scooter deck sizes went way too big way too fast
I agree I’m still enjoying 5.5 seems like a lot of companies can’t keep up with growing sizes
The only thing I can think of is that it has to be expensive to manufacture the proto decks
proto a lil late to the party
Where did you get the spacers to run the 28mm, I’m trying to find spacers for to run 30mm wheels?
I think I had a bunch of random spacers laying around that I tried using till sometime worked. They definitely need to add spacers for 30mm wheels.
@@fullcore2239 thanks for the advice, I figured it out because of it
Will any normal axle for back wheel work in eclipse, i have so many axles and i wonder will they fit?
Yeah if you order the deck with the deck ends it comes with the axle
@@fullcore2239 yeah bro i asked my friend if he could me give his old deck ends so he gave em for free so no problem anymore
Nice
Don't bother buying a deck that's behind.
If you like riding 5.5 it’s nice I don’t mind it so far 😊

it’s not behind just took a lot of time to manufacture a good product with good quality unlike other scooter companies that cut corners
