Liked how you used front loader to lift splitting wedge & installed a different wedge on your splitter. Your working smart & taking care of your back. Good watch.
I have missed seeing fresh videos but to get my fix I just go back and watch some of your others already posted but it’s good seeing you back and with another awesome video stay safe my friend and the boss Clifford ❤❤❤❤
Hey there Dick! Nice dropping by the channel to see what you’re up to in the woodyard! Still have a tad of snow left here in Central NB but it’s pretty much gone now. Enjoyed the video Dick and nice work that day! Thanks for having us along on this one! Take good care! Andrew from NB :)
Glad to see you and Clifford enjoying that nice weather with a beauty of a machine. Grizzly bars are sure off to a great start that was a good amount of slash separated out 💪
Morning Dick. Good to see you back on firewood. Looks like your having some beautiful weather, maybe you could send some to us ! We're having some terrible wet weather making work on our farm crops extremely hard. Looking forward to seeing more. Regards to the family form across the pond,,👍👍
Hello Mr. OGF, Good to see You again, I am sure life has been busy as ever beginning with Spring, That splitter handles that Hickory verywell, I never heard it grunt, Wishing You good health and lots of success.
Good to see your grizzly bars are working out always have bugs to work out on homemade items me my self just getting back up to moving around ended coming down with pneumonia like 21/2 weeks ago getting better day by day moving as much as body would let me but more and more every day glad to see your getting busy I’m getting backed up but poking at it the best hopefully back in the yard next week take care be safe 👍👍👍
Hey Mr Dick , good to see you . I have to mow the yard again this week and that will be the second time already . Good video . Take care and have a great week !! 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵🔥
It seems like DIY grizzly bars are the must have accessory for the attached conveyor Eastonmade splitters. Andrew and crew might want to offer them as an add on.
Eastonmade doesn’t offer grizzly bars on any conveyor under 24’. I’m thinking it might be a safety issue because they hang down too low. That’s just speculation on my part.
Thanks Ted. I always think about when we first met at Paul Bunyan in 2022. Now YOU’RE becoming a celebrity with your TH-cam channel… congratulations my friend!!
I need to get out cutting and splitting. Still little snow here and mud. Been trying to get some wood from tree service not much luck. Keep up the good work.
Good video 👍 Your getting pretty good at switching out wedges 😊 Glad to see that your sharpening your wedges. We were religious about sharpening splitting axes and wedges because it made a world of difference when hand splitting. Logically using a processor that mechanically is doing the same thing, it's gotta help.
Just watched an older video from Eastonmade where Andrew said that they don't sharpen the wedges before shipping for safety but he did recommend it. I like your content 🙂
Hi Dick, Its getting closer to the projected wait time (May) for my 22-28, but that's ok for now as most of our roads around here have weight restrictions. Meanwhile I'll be making some wood yard changes in preparation.
Hi John. I really appreciate you watching and commenting. By the way, my sawmill arrived but it’s going to take me a while to get it set up. I’m looking forward to a new hobby!
hi there when you get it up and working you will have a all new way of looking at logs and will change your firewood supply .cant wait . best to all , john@@oldguyfirewood
Hi Dick. Didn’t take you long to fill that tote. I think I may call AJ next week and order the 12 bag package. What’s your thoughts on how long will they last? Smart idea using your tractor to change wedges. Use your brain not your back. Enjoy your videos. Don’t work to hard. Later Al
Hi Al. Thanks for watching. The 22-28 is a productive beast for sure. Check out my latest video… I finally got your channel sticker up on the “Wall of Flame”!
Hi Larry and Robin. I wish you guys weren’t so far away! There’s a real concentration of wood channels in the Pennsylvania and Maryland areas. It makes it nice for easier get togethers.
Liked how you used front loader to lift splitting wedge & installed a different wedge on your splitter. Your working smart & taking care of your back. Good watch.
Thanks Dan. The older we get, the more we try to work “smarter instead of harder”!
We loved our 22-28. Great machine. Sharpening the wedge makes a huge difference. Love the grizzly bars.
Thanks Jeff. I totally agree with you.
I have missed seeing fresh videos but to get my fix I just go back and watch some of your others already posted but it’s good seeing you back and with another awesome video stay safe my friend and the boss Clifford ❤❤❤❤
Thanks John. Clifford says hi!
Nice to see you again staying busy I see landscaping and firewood keeping you out of trouble, still cold in Massachusetts
You hit the nail on the head digger… it keeps me out of trouble! Your weather will be great in just a few short weeks.
Really glad the grizzly bars are working out that was a great project. You've got to be one busy man this time of year!!
Hi Obie. This is our busiest time of year. Things will slow down in about a month. I’m just glad to be back making firewood!

Hi Del. The grass is growing like crazy with the spring fertilizer and warm temperatures. They look really good right now.
Great splitting session!! That splitter is fast!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Hi David. Do I remember you were looking to add a vertical splitter to your operation? I may be dreaming haha.
@@oldguyfirewood yes I am thinking seriously about it

It's amazing how well the grizzly bars are working for you. 20 minutes is a great time.
Thanks Kenny. Has all that snow melted yet?
@oldguyfirewood yes. Some left in the woods and the highlands but mostly all gone
Beautiful view of your grizzly bar see to be working great for buddy . 😊
Thanks Leonard. They make a huge difference.
Looking good as usual Dick.i love watching.
Thanks Ted. I always think about when we first met at Paul Bunyan in 2022. Now YOU’RE becoming a celebrity with your TH-cam channel… congratulations my friend!!

Hey Dan. The spring weather really makes it enjoyable to get out and cut wood. It will be there before you know it.

Hey Lyle. I was really surprised what a difference it made. Cleaner splits with less effort.
Just watched an older video from Eastonmade where Andrew said that they don't sharpen the wedges before shipping for safety but he did recommend it. I like your content 🙂
@@lyleharkness-rv5vf thanks Lyle. I really appreciate your support.

You will be amazed at the power and productivity of that machine. A conveyor will be a “must”.
Nicely done sir!
Thanks Tony!
Thats a good ideal about sharpening the box wedge , i need to do that.
I think you will be surprised if you do. Thanks for watching!
Sure enough it is a catch point by the wheel easy fix for you
I’ll get it right John. Thanks!
Dick, that Eastonmade box wedge sure does live to eat bundle grade rounds. Be sure to keep her fed.
Hey Joe. The box wedge makes it easy!
hi there old man looking real good , john

Looks get dick. Going to get at my lawn in the next month or so. snow is almost all gone. A couple of piles yet. Keep moving!!!
Thanks Andrew. It’s an awesome machine! Zero snow here in North Carolina this year… never put the plow on (I’m not complaining ha!).
Are you going to keep the hickory separate for your meat smoker customers?
Hi Joe. I haven’t gotten into the smoker wood market… I probably should. Right now all my hardwoods get mixed for bulk deliveries.

Do you sell your wood up north or do you sell it locally??
Hi Tony. I sell all my wood locally, both bulk wood and bundles. Thanks for watching!
Hello Dick, Whenever you need a break, come on down for some good eats and play with our toys🤘🏻🪵🇺🇸
